"First of all, the men are very friendly and put up with my two dogs, which is gold star from me to begin with.  More importantly, they showed up the exact time they said they would and worked to completion on the project.  Our dining room had wall paper, which they removed, touched up the plaster in the dining room, primed the walls, and painted them beautifully.  The living room is 16ft. x 23ft, with 17ft. ceilings, they painted the room and it looks amazing.  The the house was built in 1929 and they repaired the plaster in the living room prior to its painting.  Lastly, they painted the ceiling of our foyer and hallway , up the stairs and onto the 2nd floor and the crown molding.  it all looks great, and I can't say enough as far as recommending them, they are just great.  We will definitely use them again...and again...and again!

"A busy schedule delayed the start for about a week, but Jeff, the lead painter arrived early on the day promised and spent about 8 days on the trim and foundation and also on a heavily rusted wrought-iron balcony. The painting also included killing mold and using a mold and rust preventative. Ab's choice of colors was right on the money -- replaced a DayGlo green with a very nice forest green complemented by tan on the foundation. Jeff's work was first-class -- no spills, clean lines and no excess paint or overrun, even on casement window frames. While Jeff was working on the paint, I discovered that some oak plank flooring in the living room had suffered termite damage and had been badly repaired when wall-to-wall carpeting had been installed.  SInce  AB also does woodworking/carpentry, and because I was impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail, I asked if he would also repair rhe floor becasue I planned to leave it exposed.. This turned out to be more involved than anticipated, and removal of selected floorboards turned into replacement of a 12' x 5' section of floor. Again, Ab's selection of wood and stain was right on the mark, and he made more than one trip to make sure the stain color was perfect.  The cost was bit higher than anticipated, but the work involved removing patching cement that the carpet crew had applied haphazardly and really turned into a major chore. I think the price for the flooring was quite reasonable given the time they spent on it. The exterior and interior door work was also first class. Finally, Ab's crew also installed a new gas stove in the kitchen. All told, Ab and crew spent about a month on the project -- not every day, but when they could not be there, Ab always called to inform me that they were still on the job. Since I had not yet moved into the home, there was no rush. I appreciated Ab's consistency, his concern to get the colors -- especially the stain -- correct, and his staying in touch and keeping me informed of progress.  He and Jeff --w ith whom I mostly dealt -- are also friendly, easy going and funny. I highly recommend Ab for painting, carpentry, woodworking and plumbing and have no doubt that any of his services would be superior. His price for the entire project -- especially the painting -- was extremely reasonable."
