Quality of work was excellent. Price was good. Father and son are very nice, and a pleasure to work with. On time. This is the second time I hired them. First time on 3/16/2016 they removed wallpaper from one room,and painted, and removed border,and painted another room.  Excellent work ,good price got back to me soon with estimate, showed up on time, cleaned up after work.

Ron did a great job for a good price on our new house, painting the exterior.  Got the work done in the time he said he would.  Ron seems to be an old-school guy that does not take credit card and uses a handshake or conversation to seal the deal.  Was worried at first but he did everything we asked.  Other painters could not match our timing or were very expensive.  Good work.

Price felt high for a half day job, but he underlined that he would do a premium job.  Work was done during the day Friday.  Mid afternoon I got a call indicating the painter had finished and refused to wait for me to review the work before being paid (my bad - I should have been explicit on that.  Paint was still wet but looked good enough to my wife, so I asked her to pay.  When I got home the paint had dried and the missed areas and faults became evident.  Some parts of the wall that should have been skimmed before painting were not,  and the brush work near the ceiling and in areas where the roller could not be used were consistently poor,  with the primer showing through in many areas.  The overall precision was good,  however - I need to give them that.  Door frames and cabinets, switch plates etc. were protected from paint and the roller finish looks good.  One switch plate was not re-installed,  but that is relatively minor.  So I am spending Saturday morning fixing these issues (I took photographs of most of the mistakes, in case anyone is interested).  The job was not worth the $450 I paid for,  and  he could have fixed the issues *and* maintained a happy customer if he had waited for me to get home and review the work before requiring payment.  The way he demanded immediate payment felt awkward to us but we complied since he seemed irritated.  It also led us not to have any desire to call him back,  even if we had to fix things ourselves.

I called them left a message and then they call me back very quickly after that, there are very punctual to come out to give me a quote, and they also very punctual when we set up a date to start to the work, they did very Nice job and didn't leave any mass behind, I am very satisfied, and I just hire them to do the similar job for another of my rental property in Shadyside.

Ron and crew were prompt and efficient. They power washed one day and stained two days later. They were respectful of the plants growing around and near the fence. They consulted with us about the type and brand of stain. This fence had not been staiined for several years and now looks like new. Ron was recommended by Dave Zora, our handyman,, who we found on Angies a few years ago.

He went out of the way to complete the job before the weather changed.

I have used Ron several times over the years.  He responds quickly when called.  His pricing is reasonable.  He does a nice neat job and the place is always clean and neat when he leaves the premises.

The finished job shows streaks and places were missed all together. There were cracks on seems which was the main reason I wanted it done so the sanding wasn't done properly. By May of 2011, the window part of the window sills were cracked and chipping. The front door showed cracks and streaks and was later repainted by another painter. Mr. Yohe was very unprofessional. He came out the first week of October and said he would mail his proposal. He didn't mail it. I called twice and gave excuses as to why he didn't mail the proposal and he finally responded when I itemized the work and sent him an email. All he would have to do was copy the proposal. Instead he just quoted a price of $525 for the whole project. He didn't itemize everything in the proposal. After going back and forth about the quoted price he stuck to the price of $525 instead of itemizing each object to be painted. I was particularly angry because during a rainy week he called to come out to my house. Instead of waiting until the weather cleared, he made excuses about only having one day to be able to do the work. He simply blows off small jobs. He gives estimates and then when he discovers its a small job he doesn't like to do it. My job cost 625 dollars and I could've easily gotten the job for around 300. He was supposed to paint my kitchen as well but didn't give me an estimate and said he wouldn't be able to get to it until right before Christmas.

He did a terrific job, he is a great worker. Everything was clean when he left and we were very pleased.

Ron provided a bid very promptly.  He arrived on time, worked steadily, and cleaned up well.  He's a dependable professional and I will use him again.

Ron was very responsive and just an all around great individual. There were two small spots that I thought needed touched up and he was out to the house within a day of the request both times. Just a great individual to do business with. I will use him again whenever I need additional painting.

I was very satisfied working with him and his son. They were very professional and business like. They came in, got the work done and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They were very friendly, yet professional. Even my dog liked them. I would definitely hire them again and have already referred them to friends.

Ron Yohe, his son, and another painter did a fabulous job in our home. They were always on time, neat and courteous. I trusted them consistently to do a great job and to leave them in my home alone. They were so helpful to our family from helping make decisions about paint colors, to working around other projects going on in our home. Fabulous guys, reasonable prices! I'd hire them in a second without a doubt!!!

Ron Yohe, and his son Jay, painted the entire interior of my home. They prepared the walls, applied primer, and 2 coats of finish coat to the walls and trim. I am so impressed with their skill ? they are simply exceptional - and they are both a pleasure to be around.

Ron and his son were very professional. Always arrived on time for scheduled estimate and painting days. Very polite and pleasant. Never felt like an imposition to have him in the house. Worked very steady. Excellent job protecting other surfaces and cleaning up afterward. Originally we were going to do only one coat but we decided to have him return to do a second coat. Returned the following week with the same great attitude and service.

I would use him again.

Ron painted 3 rooms inside. He also did some painting and caulking around the front porch and the bump-out from the windows. The paint we used for inside was kind of dark. So, he ended up doing several coats, but he did a great job and we really had no complains. We are trying to figure out as to what colors he used and we are probably going to call him back to paint a couple of more rooms in the future.

Ron and Jay returned my phone calls promptly, arrived on time and were kind enough to remove their shoes at the door. They initiated minor plaster repair and were unable to sand it smooth because it had not dried sufficiently by the time they wanted to finish. The work was completed in three and one half hours with minimal spatter and overflow on the carpet edge in only one small area. The painting was very well done and I have ask the to return for another project. I will however, have any spackling done ahead of time so that can dry and be properly sanded.

They did superb work, great painting. They were neat, clean and prompt. They were responsive. I would absolutely hire them again!

Ron returned my phone call for an estimate very promptly. He met me at a house we had recently purchased but had not yet moved into, on very short notice and at a time that was convenient because we had other people scheduled at a particular time. The estimate was very reasonable and we decided to use him. He and Jay showed up exactly when they said they would and were extremely professional in everything they did. The painted the walls and ceilings in our living room, dining room and master bedroom. They were efficient working as a team, and the quality of their work was outstanding. The said it would take them 2 days and that's exactly how long it took them. The were meticulous in their preparations, laying drop cloths everywhere (even though I told them it wasn't necessary, because the carpeting was going to be replaced). From start to finish, this experience was what every home owner dreams of when hiring a service company. Their final bill was exactly what they had estimated and we are thoroughly pleased with everything they did for us. I highly recommend them to anyone who is considering this type of service. I was also pleased to learn from Ron that they do refinishing work as well, so we will be using them again in the near future for this type of service also.
