"Mark is a true professional. He understands customer service in a way most contractors don't. He's diligent and knowledgeable,a subject matter expert who is very competent. Mark's quality standards are high, as such, you will not be disappointed in the service he provides. He did an excellent job addressing a bird nesting problem. I would not hesitate to hire him again or to recommend him to you."

"It went really well. We were extremely pleased with the service and signed up for a contract for 4 visits in a one year period. Both the representative and the pest control technician were friendly, knowledgeable, intelligent and professional.
All bugs & pests were gone after the first application. The materials used were explained thoroughly and concerns for our pets (2
dogs) were addressed.
The representative even when above & beyond and made an emergency call to my 90-year old mother; she had been complaining about a squirrel in her attic for months. He assured her it was a mouse, showed her where it might've got in, placed many traps, charged her only $25 and the mouse was gone after that.
We were extremely pleased with Modern and although not the least expensive, they were worth every penny to us!

"With freezing temperatures finally upon us and a neighborhood with a squirrel population explosion afoot, we found ourselves with a pesky, persistent squirrel h***-bent on chewing its way into our attic via the roofline just under our gutters. It was a corner of the house too tight for us to fully reach and effectively secure from inside the house, and too high and dangerous for us to reach from a ladder outside. It was clearly a job to be done ONCE and RIGHT, A JOB FOR PROFESSIONALS. Bewildered by the chewing and persistence, I left a message for Mr. Merritt on Wednesday, January 12. He called me back within a few hours. He was a delight to speak with. He sent technicians Ray and CJ out early (8:30AM) the next morning, January 13th. They had all the right equipment and expertise. The hole was confirmed vacant. They stuffed it with steel wool and shored up the hole with aluminum sheeting and screwed it on tight. For the first time in about 5 days I could relax and not worry about listening for that awful chewing sound, neither running out of my house nor sticking my head out our attic window to shoo-away that darned squirrel. These men did a great job. The condition of our fascia board was in very good shape (not rotted or in bad shape to start with), so it was just unfortunate that the squirrel chose THIS SPOT to work so hard to get in. We could not have done the job ourselves, safely or as efficiently as these gentlemen did. They knew what materials to use, and they had it all ready to install. They were able to a**** the situation and provide a remedy that would work well for us. The job was done in about 45 minutes. The charge was perfectly reasonable and I would certainly call them again if I had another problem. I would also recommend them to everyone.

"The initial call and scheduling was great. was able to provide same day service. Technicians that came to house were courteous and professional. They sprayed the soffits, front & back porch for bee/hornets. We saw decrease in bees/hornets & were found dead ones on porch next day. Did not see any for days, then started to see one or two once in a while. About one week later we had approx. 10 bees/hornets on our outside porch light every morning & a few on the back porch light. I called and spoke with Bill who said he would service in the next day or two (dependent upon weather). Bill explained how bees travel for weeks and return so they were probably worker bees (fine, I understand that). After another week passing, we began to see one or two bees again (figured they were more worker bees returning), but then woke to find approx. 10 bees on the porch light again and also on the motion light. I emailed Roughneck via their website as it was early morning (7:45am) & I was heading to work and wanted to get on their schedule as soon as possible. I then called the office # at 10am to follow up on request to be sure it was received. I was told that Bill was training someone and that he'll be returning calls shortly. No problem. I called again at 2pm and was told that no message was received and that Bill will call me. At 3pm I sent a follow-up email to the customer service email address on their website asking for a follow-up as to if work will be completed same day or not. At 5:30pm I received a phone call from the owner Bill who 'nicely' pointed out that I didn't follow company policy by emailing and that I should've called (even though I called twice), and that he didn't appreciate the email I sent bashing his company (the email stated the same as above ... ?) I requested service again, as my husband is extremely allergic to bees. Bill stated that he couldn't control the elements and nature and flying insects, and that he already treated the house and also used a powder that will last "forever & forever". He then also advised he removed a nest last time he came out. I questioned why I wasn't provided a follow-up to that visit, and Bill told me that I should've called them if I wanted to know what was done. The phone conversation was very demeaning as Bill continued to call me names (rude, hag, ignorant, stupid, etc) anytime I would question his service, product or warranty. Bill also stated that I treated his employees badly which he could not give an example of (as the technicians that came to the house were very nice and respectful and did a great job, and the gentleman on the phone was friendly both times - so had no reason to be rude). I have never been spoken to so negatively for a service that I paid for. I will never use them again and definitely will not refer them to anyone. Which is a shame as everyone else was extremely nice, but Bill is just rude. I am sure that Bill will respond negatively to this review (as he has others), but I'm not a liar (though he will call me such) and I am not difficult to deal with. I give respond when deserved and will provide a good review for a job done. Truthfully, I was scared to post a review as I am afraid of retaliation from this company (as they know my name & address) - but I do not think it is right to be treated this way, and others need to be aware.

" I called about 1 pm and he was here, at work, by 5pm! I have used his services before and I knew he would do an excellent job on a complicated task, but I did not expect immediate service!
He blew out and vacuumed the duct. He cleaned up all the lint and mess. Once again, he was extremely pleasant and competently professional. He tested the dryer and unfortunately, the thermostat apparently had been ruined by a high interior heat. I will have to call Mr. Tim, excellent appliance repairman.
Before we began with Keystone, we had been plagued by birds nesting in the dryer vent. The last time he was here, he installed a sturdy cage over the opening and we were pleased to see that no birds had invaded the duct.
He finished the job promptly and noted on the statement that the vent should be cleaned every year. Now I know just how accurate his prediction is and I will try to get the call in before the dryer has suffered damage.
I am so pleased with his work, his attitude and his pleasant manner that I can recommend him without reservation I will continue to rely on his service.
