"within minutes, I received a call from the very friendly and professional Michelle. Calling me all the way from California! Michelle explained the services she could and could not offer in terms of my needed furniture repair. And while she cannot help me specifically with my furniture issue, she offered a very generous solution: she is going to send me leather dye for the scratched ottoman and talk me through the repair, should I need help! Michelle also explained that she deals with customers all over the country, in need of leather and purse and clothing repair, cleaning, and restoration. Based on my extremely positive experience with Michelle, I will be sure to call her in the future when I need help with fur, leather or suede goods!!!"

"Bob showed up on time and did a great job. Can't believe he did all 10+ rooms in 3 hours. All the carpets look great. He advised to use additional cleaning agent for the basement due to presence of cat urine. I highly recomment this company. Walk-in closets and hallways were included without additional charges. Most companies would not do that. Great service and price. You will be happy. Thanks Bob."

"Initial contact was positive. First appointment missed, second appointment only 1 person came to clean whole house! She could not complete cleaning in required time frame. Agreed to return. So far, pleased with the quality of the cleaning. Repeated calls to set up and confirm final cleaning were not returned. Left oven with oven cleaner sprayed and not reported to owner. Owner turned oven on and nearly was overcome by oven cleaner residue. Paid up-front for service but only 2/3 of job was completed. Have not been able to contact to complain."

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

For families or individuals who experience regular or intermittent allergic reactions to airborne particles, a whole-house air filtration system can offer much relief. Regardless of the type of home air filter you install, you'll likely experience some benefits in the form of cleaner indoor air. If you're uncertain, consider a portable filter system to start.

Keeping your air filter clean is crucial for your heat pump's efficiency. As a general rule, you should check your air filter every 1 to 3 months. However, the actual frequency might vary depending on factors like the type of filter, indoor air quality, and the amount of dust and debris in your area. If you notice the filter is visibly dirty or clogged, it's a clear sign it needs attention sooner. Regular filter maintenance ensures proper airflow and helps your heat pump perform optimally, keeping your indoor air fresh and comfortable.

Air filters with a MERV rating of 11 or higher need to be changed every three to six months. If your filters are incredibly strained because of environmental factors, such as living in a smoggy, pollen-rich area with a large household, you may need to change your filters every two months regardless of the MERV rating.

There are several reasons why your furnace filter might get dirty quickly. For example, if you run your furnace often, more air—and therefore, more contaminants—will flow through the system and clog your filter. Having pets is another reason that your filter accumulates dirt quickly. Also, thinner filters will get dirty faster than thicker ones.

Air filters with a high MERV rating, 11 or above, shouldn't cause airflow problems in most residential systems. However, the airflow can be restricted in some HVAC systems if they aren't designed for high MERV ratings. If in doubt, a local duct installer should inspect your ductwork so that you know what your system can handle.
