"Very satisfied from start to finish. The mini split install looks great. They were very efficient and the job was done before I even knew it. I would recommend them to anybody for their furnace and air conditioning needs."
"I had a fifty year old furnace that provided its last breath on the coldest day of the year and John the owner saw to it that I was financed and gave me a very good price. It was flawlessly installed the next day by his courteous staff and they hauled away the old furnace too. Great job! Thank you."
"The installers were punctual. They were very professional and friendly. They cleaned everything up before they left. There was no mess. I was very satisfied with the whole process. It's only been a few weeks since the installation so I am not able to comment on the longevity of how the units run over years or the service department."
"Removed covers on boiler, said it was too old "a museum piece" and he was afraid to work on it, might break old components. Started sell mode, new boiler for $7400, new Mitsubishi full home system for $25,800."
"Had wade install a Mitsubishi Mini Split with 4 ceiling units on the 2nd floor to assist with heating and cooling issues. The whole process was easy from beginning to end with very clear and quick communication. Also had them repair an existing system at the same time that was quick, hassle free and got me fixed up properly. I want to especially thank Lonnie, Mr Wade and the Installers for their expertise and professionalism along the way. I am extremely satisfied with the Mitsubishi units that were installed and would highly recommend their services!!!"
"From arriving at our home in order to give us an estimate through completion of the work, Graham-Simon Plumbing was top notch. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber in the Morgantown area. While they're based in Clarksburg, that shouldn't discourage anyone from Morgantown from contacting them--according to them, they travel here often for business. One of the employees named Kevin came by to give us an estimate on how much it would cost to put in a new shower in our basement and he arrived when he said he would. The estimate was the most reasonable one we had received--and we contacted several in the local area. After we agreed to the price and sent over the signed form, we received a call promptly to set up a time for the workers to complete the job. Once again, the workers showed up at the mutually agreed upon date and time. They worked hard throughout the day to install the shower. But after they left and after some careful inspection, we noticed an area outside the shower's border that we thought could have been finished a little bit better. So we called the office and they sent out Kevin again to inspect the work. He completed the job to our satisfaction with the second service trip included in the original estimate. We're very pleased with the quality of the work, the price, and the team's reliability. Also, Kevin was outstanding to work with. Definitely consider them for your plumbing needs. "
"Great. I called because furnance stopped working. Brian responded quickly and showed me exactly what was wrong. Because it was a crack in the heat exchanger, the furnance had to be replaced, Brian was very knowledgable and explained exactly the options. He quickly got everything needed to repair and up and running, I was only without heat for 1 day, I would recommend him to anyone who needs Heating or AC repairs and installs."
Many utility companies and government programs offer rebates or incentives for the installation of high-efficiency propane boilers. These can offset upfront costs and improve your return on investment. Check with your local utility or installer for current offers. Incentives vary by state and provider, so exploring regional programs can help maximize your savings.
You can use a boiler and a furnace, although it’s not common to use both for whole-house heating. For example, your furnace may take care of HVAC heating through your vents, while a boiler powers your floor-based radiant heating in the bathrooms. Mixing and matching like this gives homeowners a variety of heating possibilities.
If you’re looking for a way to heat your home that is lower in cost and higher in efficiency, you should run the numbers to see what it would look like to switch to gas or electric heat. The best choice for how to heat your home depends on your location, budget, and energy priorities.
One of the easiest ways to determine which type of furnace will work best for your home is to contact a professional in your area. Many HVAC companies offer free consultations to help potential customers determine if they need a new system and which type would work best for their home and the community’s climate.
Steam boilers require flushing at least every six to 12 months to keep them operating effectively for as long as possible. Depending on your water quality and frequency of use, you might need to do this more frequently. The flushing process helps to remove problematic buildup of sediments. While a boiler contractor near you can perform a thorough annual flush, learning how to drain the system yourself means you can do this monthly if you experience speedy mineral accumulation because of hard water.
