We're sorry that we were unaware of your email. A manager from our company will reach out to you today. Meanwhile, we understand how frustrating it would be to hear different information from another company. We can't guarantee the level of training that the technician from the other company was provided, nor what type of tools they used to provide a diagnosis and/or double check our findings. However, our technicians attend manufacturer training at least once per month, we provide continued education weekly, and the tools that we use are all top-of the line, calibrated, and cleaned...all of which allows us to feel confident in their findings. Because of all these things, we expect that some technicians may not be able to replicate what we've found which is why we offer a FREE "Second Look" guarantee. We can absolutely set up a return visit by the tech at no cost to you to demonstrate how he found the issue and provide that information to the company who is denying those findings. Dear Mr. [member name removed], I am very sorry to hear your did not have a positive experience with our company. I was glad to hear Jim was punctual, especially on Christmas Eve. Jim has over 26 years of experience and that is what allowed him to determine quickly the signs of very dangerous and deadly situation - a cracked heat exchanger. The fact that Metro showed you how to turn a Furnace back on that is leaking deadly Carbon Monoxide is alarming to me. Had you gone with our Company we would have provided temporary heaters at no charge until a safe furnace was installed properly. Jim should have showed you the cracks with his camera. I am not sure why that did not happen but I can assure you that will be addressed. I am sad to hear that after all the years we have maintained your equipment that there was not more trust in our technicians diagnosis. Dear (member name removed), I am very sorry that our Technician only used one tool to diagnose where the Carbon Monoxide you both saw on the meter was coming from. The equipment was installed in Nov. of 2000 making it 13 years old. We give options to repair the exiting problem and potential problems that could arise from aging parts. Our technician gave you his professional diagnosis, unfortunately he did not communicate his findngs properly to you. As a family business for almost 34 years we strive to give accurate diagnosis at a fair and competitive price. I will personally follow up with our technician. This unit is under a parts and Labor warranty for 7 years not only 5 years since we are a Mitsubishi Diamond Dealer. I personally placed a call today to this customer since we did NOT receive a call that the unit may not be working properly since our last visit. We stand behind our installs and our service work. We are very sorry about the confusion. The day she is called it was almost 90 degrees and our phones were ringing non stop. Our Tech. was unaware of the broken dryer vent. We did however go back, take pictures and replace it at no charge out of respect for our clients property. I believe we resolved this issue and have placed a call to confirm a resolution.Service Provider Response
