"DO NOT USE! New owners took over and are not stand up guys. Sellaro’s used to be a good family owned company but now Stew & Dusty are hurting for cash so they need to rip off customers. They will rape you in high prices for 5 min of work that required no parts but just WD40. They charged $243 for what Stew claimed was a basic service fee. That price for 5 min should have been disclosed up front. He is a snake because over the phone he knew it was a simple fix and portrayed it to be no big deal. A stand up guy would have said it will be $243 just to come out. It’s because he saw custom 1/1 cars in the driveway and a beautiful home. Horrible business owners and horrible attitude. Stew couldn’t care less over a bad review because he knows he is going to overcharge the next customer regardless!! I GIVE ZERO STARS to the boneheads."

Slagle Roofing prides ourselves on a great relationship with the customer. We are always available to answer questions and go over a job no matter what the size. We have a knowledgeable staff that can assist you with your project. We are a local business and like to do work inside the community and give back when the opportunity is there. We do not use subcontractors. Service calls and repairs are $65/hr during normal business hours Please call for more details.

"DISGUSTED, NOT PLEASED, UNHAPPY, UNSATISFIED AND DISSAPPOINTED! These words barely describe our feelings towards Slagel Roofing Company. We would never recommend this company to anyone. Here are the facts: 1. In July 2015 my 89 year old father-in-law contracted with them to replace the roof on his home in Charleroi, PA. He eventually paid them $16,500. 2. The work was completed on July 31, 2015. We have records of two Payments. 3. NOAA rainfall records show that there was no rainfall for the month of August in 2015. 4. It did rain on September 10, 2015 ( 41 days after the installation). At that time Dad contacted them about water leaking into his dining room, causing extensive damage to the plasterd ceiling and walls. 5. Again on September 28, 2015 Dad had to recontact them about additional leaks in his study, kitchen, foyer, family room and living room. 6. Dad kept detailed hand written notes recording his efforts to get Slagel Roofing Company to fix the leaks and repair the interior damage. 7. Slagel roofing never fixed the water damage in the interior of the house. To make matters worse Dad died in June of 2020, and now Mom is stuck. 8. Meanwhile, We have had two professional roofers inspect the roof and both have opined the work around the dormers needs to be re-done."

Garage Doors questions, answered by experts

Standard garage door sizes for single doors range from 8 feet wide by 7 feet tall to 9 feet wide by 7 feet tall. An oversized single garage door would be 10 feet wide by 7 feet wide. The standard size for double garage doors is 16 feet wide by 7 feet high. However, some custom double garage doors can be as wide as 20 feet.

An insulated garage door is a great long-term investment if it’s within your budget. They save energy and give the door year-round usability. In other words, the door pays for itself after a few nasty winters. Most modern garage doors already have a fair amount of insulation, so look into those options if you don’t feel comfortable splurging.

It’s possible to use a torch to melt ice on your garage door, but we don’t recommend it. It’s very easy to bring the flame too close to the door, which can melt the weather stripping or even the garage door itself. You’ll melt ice quickly with a torch, but the damage you’re likely to cause can end up costing you a few hundred dollars to fix, which isn’t worth it. Instead, we recommend pouring hot water over the frozen area or using a less intense heat source, like a hair dryer or space heater.

Most garage door rails are fitted for their garage door, in particular. Some manufacturers make adjustable rails, but they’re not universal.

A traditional driveway gate isn’t your only option when installing a barricade in front of your driveway. A security gate like a swing gate, double swing gate, bi-folding gate, vertical gate, or pivot gate could work just as well as your driveway gate—if not better for your home depending on which qualities you’re after. Like sliding driveway gates, many of these alternatives work with automatic features that simplify entering and exiting your property.
