"Gary was ontime and professional. The work was peroformed in a reaonable amount of time. He cleaned all areas he worked in and ensured that I was comfortable with the installation leaving. Gary answered all of my inane questions polititly. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars across the board is becuase the the unit I purchased was more than I had intended to spend and do not yet know if it was worth the money. "Project: Service Central Vac System Our 20-year old central vac system was barely working when we put in a request to Home Advisor. Tony, the owner of the company, called minutes later and offered a very reasonable service call fee and we made an appointment. Tony arrived on time. He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, examining the vac system and explaining what needed to be done. He was able to quickly use his system to clear all of the vac outlets of major clogs. Our 20-year old vac unit was very dirty and badly in need of cleaning and servicing. Tony removed the unit and serviced it in his shop Two days later he came out to quickly reinstall the unit. He had worked wonders! The unit looked sparkling clean and when we tried out the system we were absolutely delighted with the result. The suction seemed better than when the unit was new! Did I mention that Tony did all of this quickly and for a very reasonable price? We would highly recommend this excellent company."

"Unique is true to their name. What a great company! I needed a new HVAC system. Curt from sales came to my house and did a very thorough evaluation of my existing HVAC system. He painstakingly took pictures of my system, took several measurements, and both asked and answered a myriad of questions in order to ensure I would have the right system installed. In addition, Curt told me to call or text him with any questions. When I did so, he answered me immediately. He provided me with different options to fit my budget, and made sure I was confident in my ultimate purchasing decision. When it was time for the installation to be performed, installers Bruce and Jeff were tops! They did their own evaluation, and made some observations and suggestions that helped my new system function optimally. I'm sitting in my warm house as I write this, with a great new HVAC system, and a company I can continue to rely on in the future to keep my new system running at it's best. I look forward to the warmer weather for various reasons of course, but I will enjoy having a house that stays cool for a change! Do your homework and get your estimates from other companies. You'll find as did I, that Unique goes above and beyond relative to other companies. They have an old school customer first mentality that is most welcome in an age where it's not always easy to find good companies. Kudos!"

"Done Right Today texted me just minutes after I searched on Angie's List with my emergency request, which was after 10pm. It was such a relief to know my repair could be done the next day. Ryan called the following morning, and he and Nick were at my door within an hour. They are very professional and knowledgeable, and gave me two options for replacement of my sump pump and check valve. They had all the necessary equipment in their truck and took less than an hour to have the replacement installed and everything running perfectly. Would definitely recommend, and hire again!! "We had no water pressure throughout house and a leak in a powder room sink. Turned out to be extremely easy fixes (water softener malfunctioning and had to switch to bypass, which solved the water pressure problem; a sink that leaked for a year did not leak for the plumber - go figure). Would have given 5 stars, but I asked for plumbing pipes to be insulated to ward against frozen pipes, but Horizon does not insulate water pipes for liability reasons. The other was that they do not repair water softeners, unless they were installed by them."

"When I initially called they were nice enough to tell me if I could wait until tomorrow they wouldn't have to charge me the emergency fee & would save me some money. This trend carried through the service and I much appreciated it. When the plumber (Matt) got there he tried everything he could to clear the line. He tried to not remove the toilet (to save us some $) but the tool he had was too small. He tried the larger tool but it was too big. He informed us that he would have to come back the next day with the medium sized tool.  When he came back the next day he fixed the issue we were having and in addition, looked at some broken plumbing under the bathroom sink.  Matt was friendly, courteous and on-time. Unfortunately I wasn't home when he came either day but he was in contact with me via phone and my dad, who was at the house for us, couldn't stop talking about what a nice guy he was. Hopefully we won't need to, but we would definitely use them again!
