"I bought a coupon from Angie’s List for a one time treatment, since we obviously had mice. Although it took a few calls to get someone to make the appointment, we got one. It was a great experience. Joe arrived within the appointment period, inspected our entire property for mice, and made his recommendations for what to do. He climbed up the ladder to the attic and set out traps, scooted into our crawlspace and set out more. He made the brilliant suggestion that our condo hire them to put traps out on the perimeter of the buildings, to prevent mice entering. I am still waiting for the promised estimate for that service."

"

Recently I found a dead fox in one of my feral cat houses.  After checking on Angie's List I called this vendor the morning I discovered it.  He gave me the price over the phone and his nephew arrived two hours later to removed the animal.  His nephew was very professional and polite.  I really appreciated their prompt and courteous response.  Hope this never happens again, but if I ever need this type of service in the future I would definitely call them.

Animal Removal questions, answered by experts

When relocating, release a groundhog at least 5 miles from the capture site. This distance helps ensure that the groundhog does not return to your property. Make sure to relocate it to a suitable habitat, such as a wooded area or a place with plenty of ground cover, to increase its chances of survival without disrupting existing wildlife. Additionally, always check local regulations, as relocating wildlife may be restricted or require a permit in some areas.

Signs of badgers in a yard or garden include large burrow holes 2 to 9 feet deep and 1 to 2 feet wide in your lawn or garden or under your fence. Badgers may even break through fences in some cases. Partially eaten fruits, vegetables, and animal carcasses can also be a sign. Look for bits of fur, bones, spines, and skulls.

Raccoons are primarily crepuscular and nocturnal, meaning they are most active at dawn, dusk, and throughout the night. While less common, they may come out during the day to find food, especially in warm months or during the spring birthing season (April and May) when caring for their young. Seasonally, raccoons are active year-round and do not truly hibernate. However, during periods of severe cold, they will often remain in their dens for extended periods.

Foxes are primarily nocturnal, meaning you’re less likely to see one strutting onto your lawn in the middle of the day. However, daytime activity is more common if you have a female with her cubs on your property during the spring and summer. And you can see adaptable urban foxes at any time when regular food is available.

If a coyote approaches you, never run away, even if it goes against your natural instinct. Make yourself look big, shout loudly, and throw something in the coyote's direction. Be persistent and continue these scare tactics until they move away. Then, you should move away slowly, always facing the coyote.
