We are a small, family owned business dedicated to providing outstanding service at a very affordable price. Our goal is to exceed our clients expectations and we achieve that by using quality material and guaranteeing our work. No job is too big or too small so give us a call!

"Dutchy’s owner Charles and crew did a fantastic job from start to finish. From demo down to studs to a total renovation of our 40+ year old bathroom. Installation of tile walls and floor, heated floor, pot lighting, blue tooth exhaust fan, toilet, vanity and a 5 panel glass door. We are extremely pleased. We feel like we are at a resort when spending time in our bathroom. Love it."

Wrought Iron questions, answered by experts

Installing a fence when the ground is frozen presents challenges, but it's possible with the right approach. First, mark and measure the fence line accurately. Use a power auger or manual post-hole digger to create holes in the frozen ground, ideally when it's less rigid during warmer parts of the day. Consider using pre-made fence post anchors or driving metal posts into the ground. Ensure posts are secure with concrete for stability. Allow extra time for the concrete to cure. Additionally, be cautious of frost heave, which may affect post-alignment. Installing in milder winter conditions is often more manageable.

Installing a fence in fall and winter will often save you money. These are the slow times for most fencing companies since fewer people tend to use their backyard during these seasons. Plus, installing a wood fence during the fall allows the wood to season without the heat of the summer sun.

The maximum recommended slope on which you can build a racked or stepped fence is 45 degrees. After that, construction becomes quite tricky and may require the use of retaining walls or terraces to make the fenced area flatter.

A wrought iron fence is worth it if the material suits your home’s needs and the cost fits within your budget. However, wrought iron is not the best choice if you’re looking for a fence that increases privacy. However, if you want a fence and a security gate that complements your brick or stone home with a classy, timeless, and elegant look, wrought iron fencing is a good option. As far as the longevity of wrought iron fencing compared to other materials, wrought iron wins almost every time.

Galvanized metal, vinyl, and composite fences are known to last the longest out of all types of fences. These fence types will last well over 30 years with proper care. Galvanized metal doesn’t attract pests and has a special coating to better withstand weather. Vinyl and composite materials are pest-resistent and will withstand harsh weather for many years.
