"Initially you see the sales person who shows the windows, tells you about the company and puts in the orders.  Then someone else contacts you to schedule someone to come out and do the measurements to order the windows.  After that you will have a representative come and do a final measurement before they come out to put them in.  We made some changes in the process to the kind of pattern and they accomidated that.  Then when they brought everything to put them in with about 6 guys they had me look over the product to see if everything was ok.  We had ordered full screens but the came with half screens which I actually like better so they compansated us for the cost.  Then the front door side lites came in wrong and ordered them in to exchange them out with out any problem. Payment was in 3rds one at order time, start of project and end of project."

"When my roof started leaking I began the arduous task of getting estimates for a new roof. After getting a number of estimates from most of the minor and major roofing companies serving Orange County NY, I was not impressed. Most of the larger companies were expensive and the owner is not involved in the installation. The smaller companies had no website or did not belong to the Better Business Bureau. I also received a couple of estimates from home improvement companies which although they had much lower estimates, they were not accredited with the shingle manufacturer which could void the warranty. As a last resort I called Luna Siding and Roofing, Inc. Their salesman Sam came out the next day and I explained to him I did not need the whole sales pitch about the shingles which I had heard a number of times already. He explained to me that the owner is on site throughout the roof installation. Sam did not give me an estimate on the spot which all of the other contractors previously had. A day or two later I received a detailed estimate of the work to be done with a ton of additional information. I was also impressed with the fact that I was given a 48 hour discounted price which helped to expedite my decision. After doing some research of the company as well as requesting photos of actual work that they had done, I signed a contract. To my luck they had an immediate opening. Within a few days after sending a deposit, the owner Rolando and his crew arrived 7am in the morning and immediately went to work. Unfortunately for me the roof sheathing had two problems, it was only 3/8 inch plywood and portions of the roof exposed to direct sunlight all day had melted the shingles onto the plywood which was impossible to remove. After doing some quick online research and talking to Rolando, I decided to have the entire roof sheathing replaced with 1/2 inch plywood. Although it was unexpected expense, I do not believe in being penny wise and dollar foolish as the saying goes, putting a new roof over questionable roof sheathing could lead to very expensive problems later which the shingle manufacturer may not cover. Rolando was also flexible with allowing me to pay a small balance in the near future after the holidays. The crew worked throughout the day and were completed by 4 in the afternoon. The yard was completely cleaned and the roof looked great. I would highly recommend Luna Siding and Roofing to friends and family."

"I had a very positive experience with Danny from Dennie's Resurfacing. I have a fiberglass bathtub  with Jacuzzi jets and a long crack in the bottom of the tub. Danny came to the apartment and inspected the tub and gave me a detailed description of all the work that would have to be done which ended up being fairly complicated because the bottom of the tub has to be reinforced, the crack has to be repaired and there is other work in addition to just the resurfacing. He was very pleasant and professional. He really knew what he was talking about and was completely honest about the cost and inconveniences that come with such a project. He did say that it all could be done in one day. His price of $450. was very reasonable for reglazing the tub, but the other work would add about $300, which I also thought was very reasonable compared to some other estimates. His communication on the telephone setting up this appointment was excellent. He was exactly on time. 
After giving this project some thought, I have decided to just replace the tub, which is going to cost way more, but maybe better in the long run. So I ended up not getting the work done. But I would not hesitate for a second to use Dennie's Resurfacing for any similar project in the future and I have recommended them to my friends.
