"Nelson contracting was actually the cheapest of four quote that I’ve received sometimes with the lower pricing you expect crappy service and the shotty job but that was far from that. Not only was the price right the quality is top-notch. Two guys were here all day Sunday got about 95% done came back on Monday and Finished it up. Place looks gorgeous. Not only did they install a new laminated vinyl plank flooring. They had to Replace the sub flooring because we had water damage when on our first floor our washer overflowed, and the original flooring which we had installed last year had to be ripped up and the subfloor had to be ripped up because it was so wet so they replaced a sub flooring and a laminated vinyl plank floor and they did an excellent job. I would definitely hire them again if you don’t, you’re foolish"

Plastering and skimming are two different techniques for finishing walls. Plastering involves applying a thick layer of a plaster mixture—typically containing gypsum, lime, cement, sand, and water—to create a new surface. To try it, choose a part of your wall where you can insert a pushpin or thumbtack without leaving an obvious mark. If it goes in easily, you have drywall. Walls should be as smooth as possible before applying peel-and-stick wallpaper. Although you technically can apply wallpaper on textured walls, the peel-and-stick variety won’t last long without a clean, smooth surface for the adhesive to stick to. If you have textured walls, consult a pro about removing the textured finish before moving forward with wallpaper.
