Finishing Edge, Inc. employs approximately 20-25 employees depending on the time of year. We are seasonally based due to the nature of our work (we are not open/cannot pour concrete from December through March). "In June of 2020, we signed a contract with Finishing Edge and gave them a 20% deposit. Unfortunately, the contract did not include a start date, and we felt ignored once they received the deposit. They rarely responded to emails or phone calls over the next 16 months, and frankly we were surprised to find them still in business when we visited their shop in search of a refund. When we requested a refund due to their inaction, they retained 25% of the deposit as a “design fee” for a sidewalk. Since they never got around to doing any work for us, we can't comment on their quality. However, we found their customer service to be essentially nonexistent. Despite the pandemic, simply returning phone calls or emails doesn't seem to be too much to ask. Do not give them a deposit unless you have a guaranteed start date or retain some other leverage. In our experience, they are happy to take your deposit and reluctant to do any work."

You will have people show up without warning as well. You don’t dare turn them away because you want the job to continue. 3. No one is onsite running your job. It’s random crews with no conversation showing up. Check their work before you let them leave. Multiple things needed to be fixed after crews left. 4. No one cares. No one to complain to, no one thinks this business model is a problem for customers. Get your recommendation from your local pool servicer. If they don’t service fresh plaster, find one that does. Ask them who the best local pool refinisher/plaster company is for your area. We now know who we should have used for a much better experience. Good luck"

This work was performed in 2014 and 2015."
