"We engaged Better Living Patio and Sunrooms of Pittsburgh to transform our screened in porch into a four-season room. Our primary goal was the creation of a space where our grandchildren could play in the sunroom while we remained in our home. We planned to talk with them and visit through a window, since we are both at high risk for COVID due to cancer. I asked that the room be complete by Thanksgiving, but, as November dates became closer to the holiday, it appeared we would not meet the date. I appealed to our salesperson, Anthony, who connected me with the owner, Ray Hepp. Mr. Hepp was extremely helpful, moving quickly to obtain back orders (due to COVID) and assigning his team to finish the room before the holiday. We love our new room! Because of Mr. Hepp's integrity and kindness, we were able to share not only Thanksgiving, but also Christmas holidays with our family while maintaining the distance we need to remain safe. "We called Paul about replacing an old worn out awning, but were also looking for alternatives such as a retractable awning, but something more permanent.
Paul showed up in a pickup truck wearing work clothes. I was especially impressed since I wasn't looking for a suit and tie salesman who would send a wannabe installer out to do the job.
He suggested an insulated patio cover that would be a permanent installation, and showed me a sample that he had in his truck. He explained in detail how the installation would go, and I was very impressed. I especially liked the idea of not having to store our patio furniture every Fall.
He quoted us a price, and suggested that we check out his website, showing several of his installations. We liked what we saw, and gave him the order. After a short waiting period, he showed up with one other worker, and did the job in a very professional manner. During the waiting period, I had to call him on several occasions. If he didn't answer right away, he always got back to me later.
We are very pleased with the installation, and  would definitely recommend his services to others.

"I screwed up the pavers in our rather large outdoor patio when I tried using Sakrete as grout. Turns out it was a bad idea as the pavers absorbed the Sakrete and the “grout” dried very unevenly. TJ and his crew ground down the excess / dried grout and then used a special / very fine grout that spread and dried evenly. The pavers and the patio now looks like new! These guys did great work and I can’t thank them enough (they even fixed a cracked sprinkler pipe while they were there - they saved the day!). I highly recommend TJ for any of your remodeling needs - trust me, you won’t be disappointed!"
