"The crew came to the house and modified their way of working to accommodate the tight work space. They were friendly and went above what they had to do by saving my flowers out of my flower bed before they began digging out the space. They answered my questions and explained how things were going. The company owner often checked in by phone and in person to communicate with me regarding the job."

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"We had no idea what was wrong except that we saw water leaking in after a rain.  This was confusing because it was on the 1st floor and there was no leak on the 2nd floor windows immediately above.  Clarice is willing to tackle any home repair job.  She came out and determined that rainwater was hitting the deck and being splashed behind the siding.  She removed some of the siding, located the point of entry, and sealed it with a silicone calk of some kind.
Haven't had a problem since.

"Exceptional Service ? Fast, Professional, and Reliable! We recently had a major plumbing issue that needed immediate attention, and I couldn?t be more impressed with the service we received. From the moment I contacted New Vision, their customer service was top-notch?friendly, responsive, and incredibly professional. They arrived quickly, assessed the problem thoroughly, and explained everything clearly before starting the work. What really stood out was how efficiently and cleanly the job was done. It was a serious issue, but they handled it with skill and confidence, making what could have been a stressful situation feel completely under control. The work was completed much faster than expected, and everything was done right the first time. No cutting corners, no delays.. just honest, high quality workmanship. It?s rare to find a contractor who combines speed, quality, and outstanding customer care, but New Vision truly delivered on all fronts. Highly recommend!!"

Closets questions, answered by experts

To prevent sagging, consider both the material and the span of the shelf. Using sturdy materials such as plywood or solid wood can provide better support than particleboard. Additionally, limiting the shelf span to 36 inches or less can reduce the risk of sagging. For longer shelves, incorporating center supports or brackets can offer additional reinforcement.

There are certainly luxury upgrades you can make but you can seriously improve the look and functionality of a closet without spending much money. Color matching will make the closet seem bigger so any shelves painted the same as the wall is a good tip. While pre-made closet organizers may seem expensive they offer an aesthetic look that's hard to achieve with DIY methods. Lastly, removing clutter and unworn items will help the closet seem bigger and cleaner.

Yes, books are typically heavier than clothes, unless you have a collection exclusively of paperbacks or comic books. That’s why packing lots of books warrants careful planning and consideration. Consider packing up your reading collection first to determine whether you need to downsize it before loading it into your moving truck.

Hanging and folding clothes are efficient ways to pack your clothes during a move. When choosing a packing method, consider the type of clothing you’re packing. For example, clothing such as dresses, suits, blouses, and items made of silk and similar fabrics are ideal for hangers. On the other hand, it’s easier to fold pants, shorts, t-shirts, thick sweaters, and more.

Fortunately, there are no hard and fast rules or regulations regarding the height of closet shelving. However, the typical height for a single closet shelf with a hanging bar is 70 inches from the floor. For a double-hanging system, use 84 to 85 inches from the floor for the top one and 42 inches for the lower.
