"I called on 5/12/2021 to set up a new service for lawn treatment and weed control and spoke with Will. I explicitly requested that the technician ring my doorbell when he arrived so that I could tell him what areas not to treat since I was concerned about the plants I have in those areas. I was told that a technician would arrive between 8 am to 1 pm on 5/13/2021. To my surprise, I received an email at 3:43 pm stating that I received Step 2 of their lawn care application package yet nothing had been done to my lawn. Nobody rang my doorbell, called, or texted me. There was no evidence whatsoever that anything had been done to my lawn. There were no signs present or granules on the grass. I even checked my Ring doorbell notifications and found nothing. I called immediately to request an explanation and speak with a manager and was told by Kelly that there were no managers available and that the technician probably went to the wrong house. I subsequently received a voicemail message from Will who said upon my returning his call that he placed my request for the technician to ring my doorbell in the wrong spot. I asked for a manager again to which Will replied that he was a manager and would take care of this misunderstanding. I explained that they left me with a very negative first impression and that I wanted nothing more to do with them, wanted to cancel the service, and not to charge anything to my credit card since they had not provided any service. On 5/13/2021, I received an email at 4:48 pm confirming my cancellation. Then on 5/17/2021 at 12:46 pm, I received an invoice in PDF format via email stating that my credit card would be charged on Tuesday! Despite my request to speak with the owner, Geoff, he never contacted me. This demonstrates their complete lack of accountability, ownership, and professionalism. This is no proper way to do business with a brand new customer. I wonder how many customers this company has duped into believing that they are receiving a service when absolutely nothing has been done to their lawns! Beware of these fraudulent business practices. I received a text and email message from Geoff, the owner, on 5/25/2021 trying to sell me preventative grub control. He never contacted me regarding my complaint about never getting the lawn fertilization treatment I was supposed to receive on 5/13/2021, having been sent an email stating that I received step 2 when in fact I did not and have received an email with an invoice for lawn treatment that had never been performed. How he has the audacity to attempt to sell me preventative grub control after the horrible experience I had with his company leaves me flabbergasted, especially since he never contacted me to apologize or offer an explanation for their prior failures."

"Captured my vision! This was truly a remarkable experience. Allow me to walk you through the journey. Let me tell you, I moved into my house in 2015 and I agonized every day by just looking at my front lawn. When I tell you it was hideous, I'm putting it mildly. It looked like something out an old decrepit haunted house movie. I couldn't take it anymore and decided to look for a pro on Angie's List. I had a budget and was looking at some big name companies but prices were in the clouds. I took a chance and went with a local and relatively small company, but I am so glad I went with my instincts because I hit the lotto with Juan Rivera, LLC. From the initial quote request everything went as smooth as silk. From the onset, Juan responded right away. He came over the next day and I explained to him what I envisioned for my front lawn transformation. Juan took his time, heard me out, answered all my questions, made awesome suggestions, & honest feedback without any fluff ...I mean we covered everything from materials, labor, plants, pricing, time frame, etc. I was like this dude is on point. I have a military background, so this what I'm used to. Juan did not disappoint. He and his crew began on the day they were scheduled to and they never looked back. They were prompt, courteous, professional, and punctual. Gradually, I saw the transformation take place. These guys put in serious work. They explained everything they were doing and allowed me to be very involved throughout the entire process. On one occasion I was explaining to Juan how I couldn't get to paint my 2nd floor shutters because of no ladder and without hesitation he asked if I had the paint and the next day he took care of it....on the house. When it was said and done, I have to admit, my front lawn kicked butt. Finally the kicker. When we sat down to close the deal, I had the contract in front of me and was getting ready to write the check out when he tells me to subtract $200 because he didn't use all the top soil he thought he needed. I was like, wow, where do you see this type of honesty this day in age. I could go on and on. Let me just say that I super highly recommend them. Prices are incredibly reasonable and they put a big fat smile on my face every time I look at my front lawn now. What are you waiting for? Hire them already."
