"Horrible company. Their only goal is to extract as much money as possible. They diagnosed the issue (gophers/moles/voles) incorrectly, and after their initial ?treatment? the problem grew four (4) times worse. The 12+ traps they set never caught a single rodent over six (6) weeks. Once I terminated their services and requested a refund, they never responded (I left six messages over multiple days). DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I have pictures and videos of my ?backyard that prove their incompetency."

"Jay was able to fix a cabinet door hinge that we thought was unfixable. We'd tried to fix it ourselves but couldn't find a matching hinge, even looking for one at cabinetparts.com. It took him a few hours and a trip to the hinge wholesaler to get a replacement for the hinges which are no longer made, but the door is perfect now. I'm pretty sure there are very few people with this type of expertise in Portland, so if you've got a tricky issue, his many years of experience will definitely serve to your advantage. "My wife and I moved into our home last Nov. We completed many renovations that included lots of dust and the vents and returns likely were never serviced, at least not for a LONG time. So, I decided that I wanted my vents to be cleaned. After an attempted bait and switch from a FaceBook solicitation, whom was going to WAY overcharge me, and I declined their service, I casually asked my HVAC guy for a recommendation. He said use Powervac, LLC. I had never heard of them, but trust my HVAC guy, so I called. My initial interaction with Mary was great. She was VERY kind, caring, and informative. They were booked out a couple of weeks (for obvious reasons). She had me scheduled out to 6/18 on the calendar and would call me if any cancellations. She ended up calling me 2x to move the date up and here it is 6/12 and the work is complete! It's really a cool process and the two technicians, Jason and Matt, worked hard, communicated very well, had a great sense of humor, and their teamwork was outstanding! Many companies have lost the art of Customer Service. PowerVac, LLC has not and in fact operates like a well oiled machine. Saved me $300 over the FaceBook ad. Highly recommend them!!!"

"I would double the number of stars (i.e. 10 stars) if possible! Burton Pest Control is not only a great company, but the owner, Ray, is such a great person! He is extremely honest, approachable, kind, generous and considerate; on top of his excellent skill and experience in the work he carried out! Our home was infested with mice in the crawlspace which had caused damage to the heat ducts and insulation. Ray had come 3 times to install traps and caught them all; sealed the surrounding foundation; and checked everything possible to make sure there is no space for the animals to enter again! On one occasion when he was going to start the work, the entrance cover to the crawlspace was broken and the crawlspace is not accessible. Ray immediately came up with some trick to remove it and then rebuilt the whole cover for me afterwards. Now the crawlspace is easily accessible from inside the home! Last but not (never) the least: the cost of these highly valuable services is extremely fair! All I can say is that he charged me a little more than half of the charge from another 5-star company I called, and likely to have provided two times better service! Thanks, Ray. I was very glad to have called you for service for the first time; and will surely call you again any time when I need pest control service in the future!"
