"Cole P and Peyton B did an excellent job replacing our deck. The new deck is beautiful and surpasses our expectations. They did it in just 2 days after removing the old deck. We highly recommend Rick’s!"

"Derek and his team formed and poured a large patio and also constructed a cedar fence for privacy. They completed the work in the timeframe that was promised and it looks great. I would hire them again for sure."

"Tony did a few projects in our new home, installed a mantle tv bracket for our 65" tv, replaced our kitchen faucet, and most importantly built an extension to our deck. We needed a lower level deck for our new hot tub. Tony worked with us on our requirements and how to incorporate the new deck with the existing one. This included removing an existing glass side railing and adding the stairs as well as replacing the railing on that side. The results are better than we expected. Overall his work is extremely high quality and attention to detail is outstanding."

"So far, GOOD. Building a storage shed for me too. I will say that I liked that Tyler sent 2 men to clean up after the fence job was done. This is important to me. In the pass I have had contractors not clean up very well. Much appreciated."

"We are very satisfied with the reroof that Synergy Roofing did for us. From the first contact with Sable, estimate, scheduling the job to completion of the job took about 10 days. The roofers were professional, through and completed the job in 3 days. Our property was left in the same condition when they left as when they arrived. They paid special attention to our parking area with a magnetic bar to remove stray nails and other metal debris. Communications were open and all our questions were completely answered before the contract was signed and by the installers during the duration of the job. We would recommended Synergy Roofing for professionalism, quality and value."

"The roof and gutters look wonderful but the workers dropped something and damaged our aluminum awning. This was done in July 2022 and as of now they still have not fixed it and they won't return my calls. Also most of the reviews are done, not by the client, but by the sales reps themselves. My first review was not done by me but the rep. The roof is excellent though."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

The average cost to install a wrought iron fence is around $3,150, with typical project costs ranging from $470 to $10,500. The final price can vary significantly based on several factors, including the fence's total length and height, design complexity, metal thickness, and your property's topography.

For materials alone, you can expect to pay around $25 to $35 per linear foot. When including installation, the cost is typically between $50 and $70 per linear foot.

Additional factors that can influence the total cost include:

  • Custom designs, decorative flourishes, gates, and columns

  • Labor costs in your area

  • The need for permits

  • Land preparation, such as old fence removal, tree or bush clearing, and land grading

For an accurate estimate, it is best to consult a professional fence installer with the specific measurements and design requirements for your project.

Many types of farm fencing can work well for your farm, but it depends on the type of animal you need to contain and the size of your property. If you want something quick and temporary, go with a metal T-post fence. If you need something that will last forever, go with a synthetic fence made of composite material or PVC. Electric and barbed wire fences are often chosen for docile livestock, like pigs and cows.

In most cases, a fence can only be built on your property with your consent. Not obtaining permission constitutes an encroachment and a violation of your property rights. However, exceptions may apply, such as when the fence is entirely within the property boundaries of the person putting it up and the fence complies with local zoning laws and regulations. If you think a fence infringes on your property or is not up to local standards, consult with local authorities or legal experts to address the issue and protect your property rights.

Some types of snow fences may work for keeping Fido in your yard. The openings can be small enough to prevent a dog from escaping. However, you want to make sure the openings aren’t susceptible for them to get stuck. While some types may contain the pup, the fence will require regular inspection and maintenance. It’s best to discuss which type of snow fence is ideal for your needs with a pro.

Post depth for shadowbox fences should be at least two feet deep plus an additional foot for every foot of fence height above four feet. For a standard six-foot fence, this means a minimum depth of 3 feet. This depth helps to protect the structural integrity of your fence in the face of wind, soil movement, and seasonal ground shifts
