"Alan and his team are very hard workers and aim to please. They were friendly, arrived on time, did a good clean up and explained very well what to expect. What I have learned in concrete staining, especially concrete that had been covered in tile for 50+ yrs, is you can not predict what the concrete color will be, it is not like paint. I am very glad I choose a light color to stain with, as my floors then darkened up to a deep brown/grey/green/tan. I used the water based sealant and it gave more of a Matte finish even though the test sample was more shiny. So if you want a shiny finish go with the industrial sealer. We wanted just a bit more shine so Alan came back and fixed it with a product called Zep. It is perfect! Finishing the floors was not as toxic smelling as I thought it would be. ( My hard wood floor refinishing we had to leave the house for a few days.) Windows were left open for part of the day but closed at night and it was cold as we had freezing rain. The floors dried fast and we were able to walk on them in 24 hours or less. I would highly recommend Your Concrete Guy. He was the most reasonable offer we had and was flexible with my requests for additional work and sealant.

"I purchased a Deal in February, but due to unforeseen delays was not able to use the deal until July. Everyone I spoke with at SL Green was understanding of the delays in scheduling and very helpful. I sent pictures of my projects via email and received timely responses. When the two man crew, Brian and Rich, arrived, they were on time and ready to work. We first discussed the projects to make sure we were all on the same page and then they got to work. The communication skills, work ethic, knowledge, and professionalism of Rich and Brian were amazing. They both had a "can do" attitude and made sure all projects were completed to our satisfaction. It was a pleasure having them work in our home and we would not hesitate to hire SL Green for any other projects. Overall it was one of the best experiences in our months of remodeling.

"When we first contacted them, Mariano came to give us a quote the very next day. The quote beat his competitors by a long shot, and he was a very nice guy who had received great reviews on Angie's List before. The initial yard clean-up & barkdust went forward as scheduled. We were delighted with his crew's work and speed with which they got it all done. However, once we scheduled them for twice monthly upkeep thereafter, there were THREE occasions where they did not show up on the day or time scheduled to do the maintenance. Each time we had to call and Mariano had someone there to do the work the next day, yet it was a major inconvenience not having them show when they would say they would. Our family's schedule is too busy for this kind of unreliability. Therefore we will not be using their services again this summer and will be hiring another company, even if that means paying a bit more."

"It went great. They came before I left for a few days and finished ahead of schedule. I had a small concern about the noise when the water was pumped out. They came immediately and changed the slope of the exit pipe.

"We had a great experience with Mases Concrete. They are a small family business, trustworthy, and always kept me updated with everything that was going on with the project. When i had contacted them they replied back within the next few hours and scheduled the next day for an estimate. I had originally planned to overlay my old patio and make it look nice but Nelson had a better idea which made more sense. I'm glad i went with nelson's suggestion because my Patio and walkway looks a whole lot better. I highly recommend Mases Concrete LLC and I would definitely give them a call back for a future project."

"I am happy with all the work they have done."

Mudjacking can be an expensive foundation repair process, but in many cases, it’s well worth the investment. This is especially true if you’re lifting a portion of sunken foundation slab back into place. In that case, mudjacking can help avoid major structural damage and even home collapse by restoring the integrity of your structure with minimally invasive procedures. Mudjacking a concrete patio, walkway, or sidewalk can be worthwhile because it removes tripping hazards and makes your outdoor area more aesthetically appealing.
Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
The average cost of mudjacking is around $5 per square foot of concrete, with most concrete leveling jobs totaling between $3 and $8 per square foot. The typical cost to fix a sinking portion of concrete slab with mudjacking is around $1,100. The price you’ll pay depends on the size of the concrete slab you need to be leveled, the accessibility of the slab, and the type of material your contractor uses beneath the concrete to lift it back into place.
In most cases, no, mudjacking is not possible as a DIY job. Not only do you need specialized equipment to cut into your slab and pump the cementitious material underneath it, but it’s also a challenging process, and the consequences of making mistakes include additional structural damage to your home. It’s possible to rent mudjacking equipment to attempt a DIY repair, but the risk of added property damage usually isn’t worth the money you’ll save on labor, especially if the concrete you’re lifting is a part of your home’s foundation.
Concrete contractors typically charge anywhere from $6 to $14 per square foot. Cost factors include job size, site prep, base material, accessibility, your location, concrete finish, and concrete thickness. Removal of existing concrete, asphalt, deck, pavers, and grass will cost anywhere from $1 to $6 per square foot. Homeowners can often save money by removing and disposing of existing pavers, decks, and grass. Breaking up and hauling away concrete and asphalt is difficult and time-consuming without the proper equipment and may be worth having the pros do that work.
