"We have friends who recently got burglarized and it really shook them up and with our 7 month old in the house we felt like it was time to get a security system. My husband works with technology so he was unimpressed with the capabilities of the old systems like we had in our old house. After looking around at what was out there now based on the TV commercials we had been seeing we knew that we wanted to go with one of the systems that had the home automation features tied into the security system. Especially the door locks and thermostat control. So nice not to have to walk downstairs and make sure if the doors are locked, or to adjust the thermostat.
