At Cal’s, we believe there is a better way to do moving. Moving has a reputation to be a stressful experience and we understand that! We do all we can to ensure your move is as stress-free and as seamless as possible. We take the extra time to make sure our business is one step in front of the competition. Whether that be training through the American Moving Association or supplying each of our crews with the most professional, up-to-date protection and equipment possible. With us, expect a complete and professional experience. We will not cut corners just to make an extra couple of bucks. We will complete each job up to the standards of each customer, and that is a guarantee! We service Corvallis, Albany, Salem, Beaverton, Portland, Tigard, Hillsboro, and all areas in between, including the coast!

"• In the beginning it seemed like they did everything right. In the end, they damaged the two items we asked them to be responsible to pack which were either very expensive or very sentimental. We packed everything else. As I reported the damaged items to them they took weeks to reply. They ended up picking up the damaged floor lamp to send to the lighting store in Albany for repair. But the crew that picked it up were in a hurry-up-and-get-it-to-the-truck mode, failing to prevent the various parts of the lamp from clanging into each other and causing more damage. I asked them to add more blankets to protect it. They then said "You don't have to be a d!@khead about it." I then asked for their names, and they refused to disclose their names. They then said they would be reporting me to their management. After they added more blankets they then started to move it to the truck, and then repeated the phrase "You don't have to be a d!@khead about it.""

Order now and see how great our customer service is. iHall moving labor making moving easy in Oregon since 2012. Licensed, Bonded and Insured. The home of the satisfaction guaranteed or we work for free policy. 24/7, 365 days a year.

"He’s a slime ball that only cares about the 5star. He will lie skeeze and trick his way into thinking he gave you a 5 star service only to over work his workers and underpay them Grossly after admitting a raise for my hard work. Worked with a “crewleader” that they breathalyzed to see if he was drinking. Or not . No employee handbooks. No professionalism at all but claim to be a huge franchise. He’s a joke and id never expect them to have an actual buisness. Picture attatched was a room before we moved Everything into the corner of another room in an oldfolks hone and asked for it to post as a “full move in” picture to say we set the room up."

Waste Removal Services questions, answered by experts

Yes, construction materials like tile, lumber, drywall, and hardware can be disposed of in a dumpster, just not in your regular garbage. As you’re planning your project, just make sure to rent the correct size of dumpster based on the scope of your needs and be aware of weight limits. Tile weighs a lot (along with other construction materials), and your costs could increase if you exceed the weight limit in your contract with the dumpster provider.

The most common alternative is burning the stump first, then dealing with the cinders and ashes. As you can imagine, this option creates fire hazards, especially since roots can burn underground, hidden, for long afterward. That’s why many states and cities have outlawed the use of stump burning entirely. We do not recommend this option as a viable alternative unless you get a permit from the local fire department and practice all safe burning procedures.

Others prefer a more long-term DIY approach of degrading the stump with home mixtures like Epsom salt and vinegar injected directly into it. This may help the stump decay faster, allowing homeowners to dig it out themselves, but it’s still a lengthy process. It usually takes months for a stump to start falling apart with such treatments, and in the meantime, it can be vulnerable to rot, insects, and other problems.

The four-box method for cleaning out an estate is a technique that can make large-scale projects more manageable. This method uses four boxes to separate items into four categories: items to dispose of, items to give away, items to keep, and items to relocate. You can sort items before a professional estate cleaner comes in to save time and money.

No. You should never empty a septic tank yourself because it involves working with specialized equipment (that you probably don’t have) and puts you at risk of breathing in toxic fumes. Plus, once you’ve removed the waste, you’ll need to transport it and dispose of it safely. Instead, call an expert for this job. On average, hiring a pro to pump a septic tank costs $550.

When you arrange to install a new boiler, you should have an option to add a service to take away your old boiler. It usually comes with a fee, around $50 to $100. Or you could contact a local scrapyard and schedule a pick-up service. Otherwise you’ll have to haul it out yourself, which is very difficult considering how much boilers weigh and their often-awkward shape.
