"Jan. 27, 2025 I paid Mario $85 to pull some weeds at my mobile home (that was basically edge work, because i have an outdoor 'looks like grass' carpet covering all area and no plants or vegetation at all, so it wasn't a massive job). He suggested I pay him $85 for 2 visits (so the 2nd visit would be free). Then he basically just 'weed wacked' the weeds instead of pulling them up by roots (as I said I needed done). I didn't see this until after he left, when I went out to pick up weed debri he had left on the ground....and instead I spent over an hr now pulling roots growing under the carpet edging left behind. After few months of rain, huge weeds now reappeared, forcing me to do again (easier to pull when wet) because couldn't reach him for 2nd 'prepaid' visit! Now today, tried again to call, recording says 'no voicemail setup', & all sites advertised on say CLOSED all days/hrs w/no contact info. This guy now GONE & I paid $85 for a 30 min. weed whack job!??? Scammer??"

Licensed and Insured PNW Landscapes provides landscaping services to residential and commercial properties in Eugene/Springfield area. The business is a sole proprietorship, operating under entrepreneur Cameron Jones.

"Rushed through and did a poor job, had to point out things they missed and they ended up not being able to do parts of the roof because the ladder would not reach. What??? Not enough chemical applied. So disappointed."

At Cal’s, we believe there is a better way to do moving. Moving has a reputation to be a stressful experience and we understand that! We do all we can to ensure your move is as stress-free and as seamless as possible. We take the extra time to make sure our business is one step in front of the competition. Whether that be training through the American Moving Association or supplying each of our crews with the most professional, up-to-date protection and equipment possible. With us, expect a complete and professional experience. We will not cut corners just to make an extra couple of bucks. We will complete each job up to the standards of each customer, and that is a guarantee! We service Corvallis, Albany, Salem, Beaverton, Portland, Tigard, Hillsboro, and all areas in between, including the coast!

"• In the beginning it seemed like they did everything right. In the end, they damaged the two items we asked them to be responsible to pack which were either very expensive or very sentimental. We packed everything else. As I reported the damaged items to them they took weeks to reply. They ended up picking up the damaged floor lamp to send to the lighting store in Albany for repair. But the crew that picked it up were in a hurry-up-and-get-it-to-the-truck mode, failing to prevent the various parts of the lamp from clanging into each other and causing more damage. I asked them to add more blankets to protect it. They then said "You don't have to be a d!@khead about it." I then asked for their names, and they refused to disclose their names. They then said they would be reporting me to their management. After they added more blankets they then started to move it to the truck, and then repeated the phrase "You don't have to be a d!@khead about it.""

Order now and see how great our customer service is. iHall moving labor making moving easy in Oregon since 2012. Licensed, Bonded and Insured. The home of the satisfaction guaranteed or we work for free policy. 24/7, 365 days a year.

"He’s a slime ball that only cares about the 5star. He will lie skeeze and trick his way into thinking he gave you a 5 star service only to over work his workers and underpay them Grossly after admitting a raise for my hard work. Worked with a “crewleader” that they breathalyzed to see if he was drinking. Or not . No employee handbooks. No professionalism at all but claim to be a huge franchise. He’s a joke and id never expect them to have an actual buisness. Picture attatched was a room before we moved Everything into the corner of another room in an oldfolks hone and asked for it to post as a “full move in” picture to say we set the room up."

If you have a considerable amount of excess rip rap, you will need to hire a local landscape grader or a construction company that specializes in rip rap installation to remove it for you. Because rip rap consists of large stones, it requires proper equipment to haul away and dispose of properly. If you happen to have the necessary equipment, you can drop off your excess rip rap at a landfill or transfer station.

Sure thing! Recycling natural lump charcoal offers even more possibilities. Try using it as mulch to suppress weeds in your yard. You can also add a piece of charcoal to your vase to prolong the lifespan of cut flowers. Remember, fresh lump charcoal works wonders as an odor neutralizer, but avoid using used charcoal as it may lead to contamination.

If you have a large area of brush and vegetation to clear, forestry mulching may be the best option. This method works well for relatively flat areas that don’t have many large rocks or mature trees to clear. Forestry mulching is a relatively quick process that improves soil health, reduces fire risk, and leaves behind usable mulch.

While a biohazard cleanup sounds like a scary process, knowing what to expect can help ease your concerns and set you up for success. It’s good to note that more than one professional might be needed depending on your situation, but that will be determined during the assessment. What you can expect during a home biohazard cleanup is the following:

  • Assessment: The first step in this process is for a biohazard cleanup professional to assess the damage. They create a report that includes the biohazard safety level, the needed damage cleanup, and the time it should take to complete the project.

  • Setup: The cleanup professional prepares the site to prevent cross-contamination and reduce toxicity risk. This process can include tarping and creating decontamination zones.

  • Removal of surface contamination: Any contaminated materials are removed from the area, starting with large materials followed by small ones. The professional can assess any floor-related damage once everything is removed from the site.

  • Salvaging items: The biohazard cleanup professionals assess which items can be saved and which are contaminated beyond the point of saving. Those deemed unsafe will be disposed of immediately.

  • Waste disposal: The next step is carefully disposing of the hazardous waste. Your professional will place the contaminated items in specific containers to keep the contamination from spreading.

  • Disinfection: The house will be disinfected and odor-neutralized. Even more minor details, like light switches and bulbs, will be disinfected so that they do not recontaminate the area in the future.

  • Restoration: Once the decontamination is complete, the last step is to restore the home. This includes repairing the damage to flooring, walls, or even the home's foundation.

Grading complexity, debris removal volume, equipment, labor, and permits determine expense levels.
