THE MOVERS ARRIVED ON TIME AND QUICKLY ASSESSED THE JOB AND WENT RIGHT TO WORK. THEY MADE SURE THE BANNISTERS WERE NOT SCRATCHED BY PROTECTING THEM WITH BLANKETS. THEY MOVED A COUPLE OF PIECES OF FURNITURE THAT WAS IN THE WAY AND PUT THEM BACK. THEY TOOK THE MACHINE APART AND PUT IT BACK TOGETHER. THEY EVEN TOOK PICTURES OF THE PICTURES ON THE WALL GOING UP THE STAIRS SO AS THEY ORIGINALLY WERE. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL THE WHOLE TIME AND COMPLETED THE WORK IN THE TIME ALLOTTED. THE GENTLEMEN WERE JON, RUSSELL AND KRYS. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN IN A MINUTE.

Let me start by saying that I hate moving; so when I say that Cross Town Movers, and the two gentlemen I worked with (Dontae and Carlos) not only made the experience almost painless but even a little fun, it is high praise indeed. They were professional, efficient, and talked me through each decision they made in regards to packing and moving my belongings. The transparency in both pricing and process was very refreshing and we ended up coming in under the quoted price! We loaded two apartments and moved in to the home all in one day, and Dontae especially went consistently above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. However much you pay these guys, it's not enough! Will absolutely recommend Cross Town Movers to friends and family!

I've used CrossTown Movers three or four times prior and they were all wonderful experiences. This time, however, it was awful. I guess it depends on WHICH Crosstown guy you use. The trucks are owned by different people. This time I used Gordon's trucks and it was dirty and left dirt spots that did NOT brush off or easily clean off my white couch. They tore my sand colored sectional and broke items in boxes -- which never happened before. These two fellow were guys I had not used before. The one fellow was constantly on his cell phone with his girlfriend and the didn't want to do the next job so I believe was purposely taking his time they both were moving very, very slowly... not like the usual Cross Town experiences of literally running. The cost too was more than double I was used to. So the tip was less than I usually do. I was saddened. This was moving from my CrossTown Storage to home

The move went extremely well. Several other clients created a logjam during the day but Larry's crew, Krys and Cody stayed after hours to move the furnishings into the rent-a-room. They went above and beyond to do this since it was past working hours. I'm not sure any other movers would address our concern about getting out as quickly as possible as thoroughly as this company did.

It went great.Larry was out to give us a bid on the move the same day that I called.He was able to book the move for 2 days later.Cody and Kris were our movers.They were fast,respectful and very easy to work with.All 3 of them were awesome.

I was so excited and relieved by how well the move from my 7200 square-foot house went. Seriously, these guys are amazing! I moved in the middle of August at the same time we had the heat wave of over 100°. This did not slow them down a bit! I had many movers (because of the size of the job) and every single one of them were courteous, professional, efficient and FAST. Packing up went quickly. Moving into my new home was even faster which was no easy feat considering my driveway is very steep. Even though it was hot and very difficult to move my very large furniture and all the boxes up the driveway and into my house, I never heard one word of negativity to me or each other. Moving is not fun, but working with these guys made it so much easier. Thanks Larry, Leo, Mikey, Dylan, twilight, Carrie and Nick!

Movers Tim and Cody were on time. Their attitude was great, they were friendly and easy to work with.

Chris, Marty and Lenny of Cross Town Movers in Newport showed up on time and moved a considerable amount of furniture, plants and belongings with efficiency, good humor and no damage what-so-ever, ! If I had the resources, I would start a moving company and hire these three men to run it

Went Exceptional! They were on time, courteous, and professional. They worked hard until the job was completely done. Communicated throughout the move. Our move couldn't have been better. Leo, Dillon and Tim were the best! The only issue was their estimate of the job, was way off (Low).

Packing was done in less than half a day - and moving was done in not much more than that. The same crew worked on both halves - except that after seeing the scope of the job they were dealing with, they cut the crew to 2 people instead of 3 for the move, saving me some hundreds of dollars. The crew were friendly and professional throughout, and went above and beyond the normal moving standards (offering to relocate furniture and boxes if I realized/decided I'd placed them wrong the first time.) Not to mention that their coordinator/dispatcher dealt with FOUR changes of dates, times and crew requirements on my part (I have one h*** of a work schedule) without a complaint - which would have been deserved after phone call #2. I'd hire these folks again in a hot second.

In a word: awful! I had them move a piano from Corvallis to Albany. When they were moving the piano out of the house in Corvallis, my partner called and said "Be warned: it's Larry, Curly, and Moe that are moving the piano". Boy, was she right. On arriving in Albany, they clearly had no idea what they were doing. When the three fellows moving the piano were half way up the steps, they nearly dropped the piano, destroying one of my (yes, old) stair railings. Piano was not damaged, but really put it out of tune. When I was negotiating for compensation for the railing, they low-balled me. Not classy at all. And, to ad insult to injury, one of the off duty employees yelled at me as he was driving by (as I was working on replacing the railing): "Nice railing" I am very unhappy with the lack of professionalism, oversight, and lack of training their moving crews have. My strong recommendation is to look elsewhere for moving services!!! I am quite unhappy with the entire experience.

The movers were a few minutes late, but very efficient once they arrived. They were very polite and efficient in loading the truck. We had everything packed up. They were very mindful of boxes that held fragile items and even remembered to take the plate out of the microwave, which I had forgotten. They worked very hard all day. The house we moved into is on a steep street and has 4 levels. They were very conscious of securing the truck on the street and covering stair railings with blankets as to not scratch them. They were very careful not to bang walls with furniture and boxes. They finished under the time they estimated it would take, took their lunch break during the transition, and only took a few minutes break to rehydrate. I would totally use these guys again...but don't plan on moving anymore!

The job was grossley under estimated. Ended up costing me almost double the estimate.The workers worked their butts off from 9 am until midnight no problem with the workers just the estimater. Also they used way to much materials when packing. I would never use them again.

Moving is a pain in the neck, but they make it almost enjoyable. We would highly recommend them.

When the moving company I had originally scheduled (Pro1Movers) didn't show or call and I couldn't reach them, I contacted Cross Town Movers in a panic. They had a crew to my house the same day so I could move as planned. Everyone was friendly, professional and moved efficiently. I was moved into my new place by that afternoon. I can't speak highly enough about this company. I wish I had used them in the first place instead of going with a and quot;grouponand quot; deal. Their pricing is competitive. I certainly learned a valuable lesson. These guys are awesome. I highly recommend Cross Town Movers.

Arrived late. and quot;Workersand quot; observed multiple times to take unscheduled breaks (on my paid time). Truck was too small so couldn't move all items. Arrived and gt;1 hour late (AGAIN) the next day to complete the move - so late that I was late for work. Cost was about $400 more than quoted price. I recently had a move with a different company and had such a good experience that I needed to warn others about this company.

They did a great job, even though it took more time that we estimated! Very good customer service. Very attentive to our needs. Very communicative. Was available on somewhat short notice.

I talked to Brendan at Cross Town Movers who answered my questions promptly by either email or phone. I sent him photos of Mom's storage unit so that they would know what size truck to bring. Daniel and Nicco met me on time at the storage facility in Eugene. They let me know how long the loading would take so that I was able to run another errand. They worked hard with Daniel often running up the loading ramp. They kept track of which items needed to go into the new storage and which needed to go into the new apartment. They used lots of blankets to protect items in transit. They also set up Mom's bed and helped to arrange the furniture. They were very careful with everything and respectful of working in assisted living facilities. Daniel is obviously an expert at this as he knew exactly how to arrange everything in his truck. I enjoyed working with them and appreciated all their hard work.

I was very anxious about the move and called Cross Town Movers based on positive Angie's List Reviews. When I called for an estimate, they called me right back the next day and provided an estimate for services over the phone. Over the course of the next month, getting ready for the move and packing up the home, I must have called them a minimum of 5 times with questions and concerns. Each time I called, they called me back immediately and was very friendly in answering any questions that I had. On the day of the move, the two movers that worked on our home were extremely professional, kind, and helpful. They were careful with out household items and were in great moods which helped me to calm down and get excited about my new house. At the end of the day, the movers worked beyond the time that was expected of them.... making sure that we were very comfortable as to where everything was placed. They put together all of our beds and was patient as I decided where everything went in the home. Although the job was underbid over the phone and did const us more than the estimate, I was extremely pleased by the work and would hire them again anytime. I highly recommend this company.

We have used them several times. They were great. I would recommend them to anybody. The crew was very professional and they made us move a lot easier. They were helpful and a quick group of guys. It's a good company. They were competitively priced. Their quality was great. They are the only company I use to move.

Dan and Chris arrived at the appointed time. They took time to introduce themselves and then talked with us to determine exactly what we wanted them to do. Several items were family antiques and these pieces were wrapped and handled with great care, but everything, valuable or not, was moved carefully. Our mother was present and they went out of their way to treat her with respect and humor, realizing that this was a difficult move for her. At the new location, they moved the furniture several times until the arrangement suited all of us. They were pleasant and patient in dealing with women who wanted things just so! They offered to do even the most minor things. Dan and Chris were friendly while acting in a professional manner--nice guys who knew what they were doing and who related well with each other and their customers. We were especially grateful at their kindness to our mother.
