"When we first contacted Fly By Might by phone with questions about having our roof cleaned and treated, they answered promptly and provided us with great information on their product and services. They showed up the next day to do the work. They blew off the debris on the roof and treated it. They cleaned up everything afterwards as well. I would recommend them very highly for this service. Their prices were very reasonable as well."

"Prompt service, and they came back when they said they would to finish. They don't leave you waiting and wondering. It too several visits to get everything done, so their reliability was essential. They worked hard and did a great job. Would definitely use them again!"

"Avelardo and his team were very professional, friendly, explained in detail what was being done, and went right to work. He told me exactly what to expect with my lawn, and if there were any issues to give him a call. After the work was complete, they did a great job of cleaning up. After two weeks, there were some bare spots on my lawn, so Avelardo came out in a timely manner and fixed the issue. I highly recommend AO Lawn Services."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.

There are two ways sandblasting could be dangerous: improper use of the equipment so that the stream touches your skin, and air particles created during the sandblasting process. While the first is easier to avoid and fairly obvious, the second has the potential to be more serious and is much more difficult to understand. This is why you should always hire a pro to sandblast, as they understand the dangers associated with the process. If proper safety measures are taken, then sandblasting is rarely dangerous.

Your pro will most likely bill you at an hourly rate of $50 to $80 per hour to sandblast a door due to its small size. This type of job won't take long, so if you have other surfaces that need cleaning, schedule those tasks at the same time to get your money's worth from your pro's visit.

Yes, many professionals use dustless or water-based blasting methods for reduced environmental impact.

DIY is possible, but professional services ensure even removal, safety compliance, and proper cleanup.
