"So the concrete foundation was poured but it was missing but it was missing all of our one anchor. There are walls that are too high and too low. They didn't use vibrator on the concrete so there's several places where the concrete didn't settle in and there are exposed rebar. So we hired another engineer to come up with fixes for the problem and the engineer said that the project should take 140 yards of concrete but the contractor ordered 189 yards so there's a lot of wasted concrete."

"Let me start by saying, this ADU project was for my daughter, Macy. Macy has I/DD and Autism and will likely not be able to live away from us, her parents, unless she is in assisted living of some sort. However, together with her grandma we sought to create an environment for her to live as independently as possible and for her to grow into.
