Everything started of well until the container was to be delivered to our house. The driver went up the wrong drive got stuck for 2 hours blocking in my neighbors and ruined their drive. He delivered the container to our house and on the way out of our drive drove into the ditch while talking on his cell phone, and was stuck, blocking us in for 5 hr. before he called a tow truck to get him out. My drainage ditch was completely blocked up from the gravel and mud pushed in by the truck in addition to a big hole in the middle of the road where he spun his wheel trying to get out. I got my drive and the neighbors repaired ($450) assuming that since I had purchased the $10,000 insurance coverage they would take care of it. Not so. They would not take responsibility for their drivers negligence. I was offered $200 for the inconvenience. I can not recommend Packrat. They will not take care of you if you have an insurance claim. And the insurance claim process is a huge time sink, as if you don't have enough going on with moving. Update: PackRat wanted me to sign a settlement agreement which included language preventing me from making any negative postings or comments about packrat on any public forum. I would have signed if they had done the right thing, taken responsibility, and offered full reimbursement, but they did not. Look out, Buyer beware! I went with Sutter Paving because of the excellent reviews on Angie's List, and wasn't disappointed. In order to save money, I opted to get the permits from the City of Bellevue myself. BIG MISTAKE! After two trips to city hall and many phone calls, the permit that Sutter thought would cost about $200 ended up costing $646!! So I scaled back the area we paved from 2,250 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft and this reduced the permit fee by about $400 (no "Clear & Grade" permit required). Dang money-grubbing municipality!! Anyway, it would have saved me a lot of hassle if Sutter had handled the permitting process. With the permitting process taking so much time, I missed the window Sutter had reserved for me to do the paving. So we had them do the paving while we were gone on vacation: a double-edged sword because I couldn't be there to oversee the work but we wouldn't drive on it for a while and it would have excellent cooling time. Turns out, they did a great job. Even though we had to have their estimator, Corey, out a couple times to resize the project to meet the permit requirements, they paved exactly where I wanted. (I had marked the extent several times with Corey and on my own using spray paint to be absolutely sure.) The "flat spot" I wanted turned out great. My kids enjoy playing basketball there often, and I love not getting dirt & gravel all in the carport & house. Plus, it's way quieter when I drive in & out, an unforeseen bonus. Only cosmetic defect was a little 3' x 3' depression that occurred after paving. They filled it in and smoothed it well, but there is a *slight* amount of water pooling there, though it is less than their standard (doesn't spill over the edge of a quarter), and dries quickly after it rains. Overall, VERY happy with the job, and would easily hire again. "},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/wa/north-bend/sutter-paving-reviews-177331.htm"},"position":10}]}

Mike did an excellent job in working with a unit that parts are no longer available. He fabricated a replacement part and the unit is as good as new. Due to an unforeseen problem, had to make a return trip and didn't charge extra over the estimate. Would highly recommend Mike to anyone who...
My brand new laptop computer was taken over by a malicious hacker. I went to Price Computers for the repair, and they suggested that since the computer was still very new, I should try first to see if the place where I bought it (Staples) would repair or exchange it at no cost. I didn't...
This is not a typical home plumbing project. We were installing a new concrete driveway to replace a deteriorated gravel surface. An enclosed irrigation ditch runs along the front of our property. The driveway crosses that ditch via a large (12") pipe. The weight of the cement truck...

"Horrible. Hardin Rehab Homes professes to "not charge any mark-up on materials", they say what they pay is what you pay. However, they grossly over-order the materials and then refuse to return the refund - this created a 53% mark-up on materials for our job. Also, a major component of the project was left out without any discussion or ok by us - we were charged for the material and the labor and when it was omitted, another return of our money was refused. The contract stated they will use knowledgeable and capable workers, but they used 2 teenagers that knew nothing about what they were doing. Steve Hardin (owner) was only on site about half the time yet professed to be there and doing most of the work. No clean-up was done throughout project and the project was never completed by Hardin Rehab Homes, we brought in another contractor to finish. Hardin Rehab Homes refused 5 requests for a meeting to finalize things and talk about our "issues" with the project and the money. Technically job abandonment. We finally got Hardin Rehab Homes to attend mediation over the issues in which an agreement was made (and signed), however, they "decided" they didn't want to pay, and didn't ... CAN NOT recommend Hardin Rehab Homes for any kind of work !!! We've been trying to get our money back for over 6 months now. RESPONSE TO SERVICE PROVIDER'S RESPONSE: 12/18/2020: I am writing a 2nd review as my first received a response that is totally incorrect by the business. We filed with small claims court and went to mediation; where Hardin Rehab Homes AGREED they owed us for the portion of the job contracted and charged for but not done - materials and labor. An agreement was reached, a legal document was signed, but the business told the BBB they, "decided they didn't want to pay it". This is not good business practice. A 53% markup on materials is also NOT good business practice. In the job we contracted we experienced fraud, scamming, and dealt with a contract not adhered to by the company that provided it. I stand by my review on this site and can prove through Documentation that everything I have said is correct. I cannot recommend this company for any work of any kind."

FAQs for gravel driveway repair projects in Milton Freewater, OR
The average cost of a gravel driveway is about $1.25 to $2 per square foot, including the cost of materials, equipment, and professional installation. For example, a 16-by-30-foot driveway costs about $1,500. Cost factors include the type of gravel, how thick the gravel is installed, the condition of the landscape, and labor costs. Overall costs will vary depending on where you live and how accessible the job site is.
Concrete can crack from general wear, improper installation, or in response to uneven support from the soil underneath. Small, thin cracks on the surface of aging concrete are usually a result of normal wear and tear, while cracks on new concrete more likely indicate a problem with installation. Larger cracks or uneven steps can signify a much more severe issue. A concrete contractor should be able to diagnose the cause and repair concrete cracks for you.
The cost to install a concrete driveway is $4 to $15per square foot on average. Your price heavily depends on your desired concrete finish and driveway size.
For a driveway that is 200 square feet, you can expect to pay an average cost of $1,900. For a driveway at double that size (400 square feet), the average price is closer to $3,800. Plain concrete is significantly more cost-effective, averaging $7 per square foot, whereas stained concrete averages around $19 per square foot.
The cost of resurfacing concrete is $6 per square foot on average, though that cost can range from $3 to $9per square foot.
For a driveway that is 200 square feet, you can expect to pay $600 to $1,800, and for a driveway that is 500 square feet, that cost averages $1,500 to $4,500. Resurfacing your driveway will give you the look and feel of a new surface without the hefty cost.
A gravel driveway should be at least 4 to 6 inches deep, depending on the soil it’s installed on. Softer soil that doesn’t drain well should have a deeper gravel driveway. Deeper gravel will mean you spend more on materials and labor, but you’ll get a more stable driveway and avoid damage that needs to be filled or graded flat again.
