"I have had two issues since they installed the new sump pump and irrigation. Issue number one was water still getting passed the new concrete. The other issue is that the new concrete was not level at all which has caused issues with the new flooring I installed. However, their customer service is top notch and will work hard to take care of you."

"After meeting and getting quotes from 6 other contractors we felt most confident and comfortable choosing Cretec Concrete. Spencer was very prompt meeting with us and delivered a quote the next business day. We knew aster discussing our needs his company would be the right fit. Our project consisted of a complete demolition of existing concrete patio, removal of grass and regrading the area to accommodate a new drainage channel. Our new patio is over 1400 square feet that is colored and stamped. It is exactly what we were looking for maybe even better than our expectations! Spencer and his crew were very friendly and professional. They completed the job in even less time than we anticipated. We would definitely hire Cretec Concrete for any future concrete needs"

"Terra Firma folks explained things clearly, did the needed filling with their foam filler and patched the fill holes. All done in just a few hours. Sure beats the time and cost of tearing up the concrete, bringing in fill and re-pouring. We've referred several family and friends. Recommend TR highly."

"Alan was quickly responsive to my initial contact, and came out to assess and bid the job. Since we were under time constraints, and Alan could do the work we did not look for other bids. Alan’s crew came in and removed/disposed of the carpets in our large basement area, scraped off existing linoleum in another room, and scraped off wood floor glue on another area. They then did a grind on the concrete floor to expose the clean surface, stained it and applied 2 coats of poly sealer. All work was professional, Alan was great to work with (even allowed us to add an additional area to the job at the last minute), and the floor looks fabulous.
Highly recommended.

"I have already referred two acquaintances to Ledesma Concrete Services.  These contractors were professional, courteous, on time and the cost of the project was the same as the estimate.  I am very pleased with their work and timing.  I am getting ready to put this house on the market and the backyard is looking great!

Flat Rock Concrete Leveling, LLC, is proud to be a family business. Our family has over 22 years of reliable experience in concrete and construction. We've built our business on integrity and handshakes. No job is too small. We strive to provide the very best customer service to all clients, at all times.\n\nEach job is performed with a strong community and good neighbor principle in mind. There will be no unsightly slabs from new poured concrete that look different from existing slabs. We maintain the safety of homeowners, neighbors, and visitors on surfaces that are leveled; eliminating trip hazards.\n\nWe use organic products as opposed to chemical bonding agents. We use biodiesel in company vehicles. Our equipment and tools are well maintained to ensure optimal performance every time. Leveling concrete costs about a third of the cost of tearing out damaged concrete, and makes it unnecessary to dispose of old concrete.\n

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Yes, expanding foam (also known as polyurethane foam) can lift concrete. This approach, called polyjacking, involves injecting the foam rather than concrete slurry to fill voids and raise the concrete slab back into place. It’s often faster and requires smaller drill holes than traditional mudjacking, though it may come at a higher cost. Some contractors also prefer polyjacking over mudjacking for more damaged and delicate slabs.

The timeframe is generally a few hours, allowing for immediate use post-hydration, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding activities.

Trenching and boring are two distinct methods for installing underground utilities. Trenching involves digging a channel using equipment like an excavator, trencher, backhoe, or shovel. While it is a simpler process, it causes significant disruption to the surface, landscaping, and surrounding ecosystems.

Boring, also known as directional boring, is a less invasive alternative that uses a drill to create a tunnel for utility lines without disturbing the surface. This method is more precise and is ideal for installations that need to go underneath buildings, roads, or bodies of water. Although boring is less disruptive, it is generally more expensive than trenching.

Charges correlate with surface size, settlement depth, and access, often yielding significant savings over concrete replacement.

Most houses are expected to settle over time, but foundation sinking of more than a few inches or uneven sinking of more than an inch for every 20 feet is cause for concern. Any significant or uneven sinking should be assessed by a professional to determine the cause and perform any necessary repairs.
