"Valley Roofing just completed a re-roofing job at our house.  All three bids we obtained were roughly the same.  The house is one-level, 1800 sf, plus a large garage, so the roof is pretty big, with three valleys.  Our old roof was 26 years old, made of concrete tile and had begun to fail and leak in several places.  In converting from concrete to composition roof, the gutters had to be lowered and the fascia boards cut down, adding labor.  The new roofing material is Certainteed Northgate.  The re-roofing job came with all new flashings, vents, drip-edges, etc., and inspection of roof plywood.
At every step of the process, communication with project manager Joe has been excellent.  I'm not a roofing expert, but the new roof looks great and I have confidence that the crew installed it with skill and expertise.  The job took two days.
Since the gutters were removed and reinstalled they need to be re-sealed at the corners.  This needs to wait until dry weather, and so the company owner Jon has promised to return in spring to reseal the gutters at no extra charge.  This attention to detail and thoroughness leaves me feeling good that we trusted Valley roofing with such a major job on our home.
