Orion Roofing & Sheet Metal

This was a big job (four buildings on a rural property) and we are very pleased with the results. We received several bids and Orion's was among the most competitive, and several tens of thousands of dollars less than the most expensive. The crew was personable and professional, and very capable. They did excellent work and communicated well throughout the process. They returned a few months later to address an issue with the gutters and we are extremely satisfied with the quality and look of the new metal roofs. We are also pleased with how smooth the process went. Highly recommended.

The workers we had to replace our roof were the hardest working people I have ever encountered. They worked diligently and responsibly. We were very pleased with the work we had done and I would highly recommend them.

We recently had our 4500 sqft roof replaced by Orion Roofing. I selected them after 4 bids and contractor interviews. Cost was important and Pedro gave a competitive bid and worked with me to ensure I was selecting the right product. Jaclyn was very professional and kept me apprised of the upcoming time and date of the job. I was really impressed by how quickly she responded to my emails and how well informed she was of the status. Once the job started I was completely convinced I had selected the right company. Every single person on the crew was polite, professional and ready to answer any questions I had. The job took a week and spanned over a weekend. They always left the job site complete cleaned, picked up and trash and hauled it away daily. I mean picking up every nail at the end of a very tiring day from all over my house...think about how hard this team worked. I am delighted at how well Orion Roofing performed and will highly recommend them to anyone looking to get roof work done. These guys are great!

They found a pinhole near a woodstove chimney and fixed it. They had to blow foot deep pine needles off the whole roof to do the job right. They were great.

It went very well. They sent Vicente and one other gentleman. They figured out the whole tricky situation right away. The roof in question is larger than the building under it since it goes wider than the walls in all directions, outside. The roof had a foot of pine needles on it. They blew them off, and found a set of pinholes many feet from where the dripping inside was. They ground them down to bare metal, and covered them with a mesh and a compound that penetrated the mesh. Problem solved in a couple hours. No leaky roof is a match for these two. They were great and amazing to see in action.

Excellent. Very helpful during the estimating process as I explained all of the concerns I had. Worked around some wonkiness from a decades old remodel and made it look great. I'm very pleased.

Showed up when scheduled and swept the entire roof before they started. Sealed and painted all of the vent stack penetrations on the roof and patched one hole. Left rest of the can of paint used so that I can do more coats to help keep UV from breaking down the patching material.

The crew was large, so the work was done quickly and efficiently.

I contacted Orion for some repair work to fix a leak where water was coming out of a soffit in front of my garage. Orion was able to schedule a crew to come out a few days later. It took some time to troubleshoot and do the repairs, but it was all fixed within a few days. Their office and field staff were professional throughout. I would have no hesitation in calling them out to do any roofing repair/replacement work.

The cost was inline with other estimates received. The installation crew, headed by Eduardo, was superb - prompt, courteous, and professional. I received quick and thorough answers to all my questions. Daily and end-of-job cleanup was thorough. Thank you for a terrific job!

I found Orion on an internet search and contacted them. I explained my situation and they immediately agreed to send someone out to take a look. Initially, I was just going to replace the area under the tarp... They quoted it, and were able to start the repair within 2 weeks. As they tore off the old roofing (which was only about 15 years old), we found the damage was more extensive than we thought. The sheeting underneath was beginning to rot, so they ended up replacing a number of sheets to make the structure right. At this time, I thought it best to replace the entire roof. This however was complicated by the fact that two of the remaining surfaces contained solar panels. I had to contact the solar company to arrange removing the panels. This process took 3 weeks or so, but Orion agreed to treat this as a single job as opposed to two separate jobs. The delay however pushed us further into the winter, where it was not rain that we were trying to avoid, it was snow and Ice. When they got into that section of roof, they found that the solar was improperly installed, and that section of roof also required the substructure to be replaced. The guys worked through some pretty brutal weather to stay in front of an Ice storm arriving on the weekend. when they arrived in the morning, it was ~24 degrees outside. They did whatever work they could in the cold, waiting for the temperatures to rise above freezing so they could drive nails through the shingles without damaging them. Here is sit, with 10 inches of snow on my roof... warm and dry! The team was super conscientious, neat, polite, and above all else, hard working! My sincere gratitude to the team at Orion!

It is difficult to find a roofer that will repair a shake roof but Orion Roofing will do it! We took our chimney down and needed to repair the hole in the roof that was left behind. Curtis gave us a reasonable estimate and was able to work us into the schedule in a timely manner. He put heavy duty shakes on the roof that will match the rest of the of the roof when it weathers. We built a direct vent fireplace enclosure and we will also have Orion Roofing put the roof on that. The communication is great, the work is done well, and they leave the place as clean as can be! When it comes time to replace the roof on the house or for any repairs on the existing roof, Orion Roofing will get my business.

Excellant! This crew, was headed up each day by a Gentleman named Apolonio. He and his crew were here everyday of the 14 day project on time. The crew was between 6 to 8 men who worked in the blistering sun and rain. They were polite, easy to work with and it seemed always working together as a team. There was no damage to patio furniture, plants or trees. This is a long roof with 6 homes under it. I received no complaints from any of the homeowners. Each morning they would set up and each night they would tear down and clean up. Our townhome development has another unit to roof and 25 detached garages that will be done in the next couple of years and we welcome back Orion roofing.

They worked hard and did what they were supposed to do. They were neat and communicated well. Their price was very much in line with the other quotes I had. I was very impressed with the service.

Lucky we did the whole roof, not just repairs around the edges.  There was considerable rot in the under-layer of plywood due to poor ventilation from the eves.

The estimate was considerably less than two other estimates; installation began within a week of estimate; the on-site foreman kept us informed as work progressed; they immediately corrected an oversight when brought to their attention--at no additional cost to us; all evidence of scrap material, including nails, was removed--cleanup was excellent; and it was completed in less than three days.  I give them an "A".

The crew was as accomplished at their job as any other professional team I've seen at work.  Better than some Professional Ball Teams.  They made a hard job look easy at the same time working quickly and being careful to avoid damage to the grounds or injury to persons on the grounds.  They picked up debris after each phase of work and picked up everything on the last day to leave the grounds as they found them.  The crew did an excellent job and completed it on time even while working around early morning showers.  And not forgotten, they were able to give us a shingled roof over our heads for the Holiday break.

It went beautifully!  Major job done in two days.  Home is that of a master gardener with a zillion flowers all around the house.  Unbelievably, not one flower was damaged!   Workmanship was superb.  Job site supervisor, Eduardo, was on top of everything.  He was very sensitive to the gardener's concerns.  This is our second roofing job by J. Vaughan Roofing.  Both were accomplished with total professionalism.  They're not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for with this company.  I strongly recommend them for anyone's roofing needs.

We had J Vaughn roofing install a brand new roof.  Bob called me right away when they discovered there was a third layer and let me know about it.  Bob and Jaclyn were great at communicating with me via email and phone to let me know the details of what was going on with the project as I live out of state and this is my rental home. My customer experience was excellent. I would recommend them for sure!

J. Vaughn roofing installed a new roof for us in April 2011.  On December 26th we had an accident and damaged a couple of the shingles.  Bob came over within a couple of days and assessed the damage.  They replaced the damaged shingles free-of-charge.  I fully recommend this company to anyone looking at replacing or repairing their roof.

Great.  Returned phone calls and e-mails promptly.  Fair pricing.  Work was completed when promised.  Did make additional repair to roof section surrounding skylight which I agreed to.
