"I went with Eric’s team because they appeared trustworthy and a solid match for our project. Sadly he has abandoned our project and is no longer responding to resolve. Not only is the remodel project incomplete, his team tore off parts of the property he didn’t need to leaving us with 2-3 times more work, costs, and needed supplies to complete the project. Heartbreaking & costly"

The Wednesday Company LLC is a small, boutique general contracting company. We are owner and employee operated, with a focused emphasis on providing quality services, at a fair market value. Bathroom and kitchen makeovers are our specialty, and we also offer all other services the home owner may need for their remodeling and renovation needs

"Project Doubled in Cost, Tripled in Length, and Lacked Professional Communication We made the mistake of hiring The Wednesday Company for our garage addition after they were recommended by our architect. While our initial meeting with them was pleasant, the experience quickly turned into a nightmare. Short Story: The project cost doubled, the timeline tripled, and communication was both rare and condescending. Construction started months late, and the project, initially promised for completion in June, is still ongoing in January. Unless you want to overspend, endure endless delays, and be treated dismissively, We would strongly advise against hiring The Wednesday Company. Details: Our grievances with The Wednesday Company are numerous. Here are just a few of the most egregious issues: Cost Overruns: The project cost doubled from the initial quote, with no clear justification. When the framer’s quote came in at triple the estimate, we were told, “We don’t have time to get more quotes, but you’re welcome to find another contractor.” This would have left us stranded, as they refused to refund the $30,000 retainer we had already paid. Project Delays: The project was scheduled to begin in March and finish by June. However, construction didn’t actually start until June and is still unfinished in January. Poor Communication: Despite touting their communication skills, updates were infrequent and only provided after we repeatedly reached out. Texts and responses were often dismissive or outright condescending. Workers would arrive unannounced, blocking our cars and causing significant disruptions. Incompetence and Oversight: Outlets were omitted from the mudroom entirely, and when we pointed this out, they told us, “You should have said something sooner if you wanted an outlet in that room.” Critical errors included a crooked shower pan, missing drywall in corners, and HVAC lines obstructing garage door rails. While we were initially dismissed when raising these concerns, inspectors later flagged the same issues, causing further delays. The stress, frustration, and financial burden this project has caused are immeasurable. The Wednesday Company’s lack of professionalism, transparency, and accountability has been deeply disappointing. We regret our decision to hire them and hope this review helps others avoid the same mistake."

Re-Bath is the Nation's Largest Bathroom Remodeler. Since 1978, we have continued to offer customers only the best bathroom remodeling experience. Whether it's a Tub/Shower Update, Aging and Accessibility Solutions, or Complete Bathroom Remodeling, it starts with Re-Bath.

"What a roller coaster. As of the time I am typing this, my wife is a couple hours from being induced into labor. We wanted this project done so she could labor at home in a new tub, and new bathroom. One of the main selling factors was the time. ReBath would GC and it would take 9 days. That was the reason we went with them. It was a little weird having to coordinate our own electrical, but we got it sorted. Wasn’t exactly something ReBath was keen on accommodating at first, but I don’t have time for that story right now. Fast forward to the project. Given my wife’s pregnancy and the fact that we have 3 dogs, we thought it would be a good idea to get an Airbnb for the project. We stayed in an Airbnb in town for 6 days, thinking that would be the bulk of the project. Cost us an extra 1,600 bucks. The project started on Friday 8/11. It just “finished” last night, 9/6, after the painter spent 11 hours in our home to get it done. (Three coats including primer in one day?) 26 days. Nearly 3 times the promised timeframe. The room wasn’t cleaned, so I woke up early today to throw away the garbage the workers left, to mop and dust and shop vac, to put electrical covers on, and to get the room ready to move our stuff back in so our house can be somewhat ready for our new baby. The final straw was last night at about 7:30pm. This project taking so long, our stuff being all over the house, and the general state of unpreparedness we are in for our baby because of the extended work caused my wife to break down into tears last night. I had to sit there for almost an hour and comfort her because if she gets induced our baby’s crib is full of bathroom stuff. I had to watch my wife bawling because of the stress, and this wasn’t even the first time. She wanted a home birth, but they have strict blood pressure guidelines. What do you think a project like this does to a pregnant woman’s blood pressure? And the work isn’t even that great. They overextended a half wall that they had to build, which they then had to correct. Now the wall is visibly curved and the floor bounces underneath the spot they corrected because it wasn’t floated properly. They didn’t remove some plaster because the “insulation would fall”, except that there is lath underneath. This created an issue with our bathroom fan. I had to shop vac a bunch of junk out of the walls so it wouldn’t get left behind there when they dry walled. The painter decided it would be good for him to visit on a Sunday morning, which we felt obligated to accommodate because the project had already been delayed. The painter somehow got my number, even though all communication had been going through my wife, and my number was not in rebaths system. We still don’t know how he got it, or why he thought calling me was better than continuing to work with my wife. So watching my wife absolutely in bits over the stress of this, for talking so long, for doing mediocre work - that was the last straw. I DO NOT recommend this company. I will be reaching out to the CCB. I want that half wall fixed so it doesn’t annoy me every time I walk past it, but I will not allow this company back into my home. They will pay the bill for another contractor of my choosing to fix the wall. And that’s that. Edit: The painting is garbage too. They didn’t tape anything off, just hand painted the trim. It is uneven as can be. There’s spot of paint all over our brand new floors. This company should be ashamed."

"These guys are great! I had 3 large local HVAC companies come to give an estimate on repair of our 14 year old Lennox furnace. Clearly they all were much more interested in selling a new one. Jessie came out and cleaned some debris from the lines and it ran perfectly for the rest of the winter. He expects it to last several more years. (For completeness he also quoted a price for a new Lennox unit several thousand less than anyone else.) Jessie helped us again when our Lennox A/c unit wouldn't turn on during the recent heat wave. Replaced a switch and it works perfectly. Fast and courteous service. This is our "go to" guy for any HVAC problems!"

Bathtub Restoration questions, answered by experts

Don’t let the following items sit in your sink, or you’ll end up with a stain:

  • Tea bags

  • Wet cloths

  • Sponges

  • Hair dye

Resurfacing a bathtub is less expensive than replacing one. Resurfacing a tub costs about $330 to $630, depending on the material, while replacing a tub costs an average of $4,150. But remember that resurfacing is a temporary solution for a worn-out tub, and you may need to refinish a tub every few years to keep it looking new.

Yes, professionals offer stamped, stained, or polished concrete resurfacing for enhanced aesthetics.

Yes. Common materials for Roman tubs are acrylic, fiberglass, cast iron, and stone resin. The choice you make can depend on various factors, including weight, cost, durability, style, heat retention, and aesthetics. Ultimately, it really depends on your space to determine the best option.

For a standard-sized bathtub with minor damage, it takes approximately 3 to 5 hours to refinish. It might take a bit longer if your bathtub refinishing contractor needs to fill in significant cracks or gouges. This is the same if you have a specialty tub, like an oversized bathtub—you can expect your pro to take a bit on the longer side.
