This is an excellent company and we would use them again for any refinishing needs. They were very communicative on all project planning and answering any questions we had, showed up on time and as scheduled, strong attention to detail, and very respectful of our home. We were fortunate to have Ruben on our project, who has many years of experience. His attention to detail and precision were much admired. Pricing was as agreed. The job turned out beautifully!
1) They damaged the paint on our walls in several (at least 10) places
2) They left our bathtub with drips EVERYWHERE. The entire front of the tub has lines of drips all the way across, and the inside has more.
3) They broke a window. The smell of their product is overwhelmingly awful, actually made me sick. When the person performing the service was here, he asked to open a window in our son's playroom for ventilation. Made sense because of the pungent smell. When we got back to the house later, the window he used was completely broken. What's better is that the serviceman said that he didn't do it. Like the window was like that... Umm, NO! Because yeah, we're the type of people that would allow for broken glass in our son's playroom. Makes sense.
My husband called their office and they offered to repair the window and fix their poor job on the tub, however, they were not flexible about the scheduling.
The job still looks fantastic 8 months later!
Worth every penny.
At 5 pm they called to see if I was home. Someone came about 30 minutes later. I showed him my issues. He immediately told me none of it was the company's fault. He told me the stain had to have been there before and that there was nothing they had to make a blue stain. I asked him to call the workman and check. He did, then continued to tell me they did not deliberately try to ruin their customer's personal property, he would take me to the factory so I could see they had nothing that color, etc. I didn't know what to say. It wasn't there before, but was after. I was also told the crack could not be fixed because my pipes were corroded and would break if they removed the faucet. I asked how he knew and he told me he could not easily turn the faucet. I pointed out the refinishing and quot;stuffand quot; they used had sealed the faucet to the wall of the tub. Didn't matter. Still not their fault and couldn't be fixed. And the paint pulled off because it was wet, but I hadn't painted in 2 months. Then it had to have been primed incorrectly. It just does that sometimes and that is why they leave the paper on. No, I was not told to be careful taking off the paper.
Then for some reason after arguing about it for over 20 minutes, he decided he would try to remove the stain. However, he made it extremely clear this was a customer courtesy and he was doing me a favor because it could not have been their fault. When he went to his truck I was almost in tears and very angry. I called and cancelled my 2nd tub scheduled for the next day. Linda, the phone person, was very understanding and kind. I asked her to send me an invoice for the one tub, but she refused to bill me. After the man was done, he had magically removed the stain, put the fixtures back on, and fixed the unfixable crack. He promptly placed an invoice on my table and waited for payment. I asked him to call his office. He got upset and told me he was the owner and he didn't need to call his office. I repeated he needed to call several times and eventually he did. After about 5 minutes on the phone, he turned around and said, and quot;Guess you got a freebieand quot; and walked out.
I will NEVER use this company again. While I appreciate Linda's efforts to make up for the way I was treated, I am not used to being bullied like that. Tub looks great, but if you have any problems, the customer service really is horrible.
Then went right to work on the tub. He was very professional, thorough...did an EXCELLENT job. My bathtub was so stained and pitted I was embarassed to have anyone over..now it is so beautiful I may have to re do the rest of the bathroom to live up to the beauty of the bathtub! Thanks alot Ruben :)
