From handyman to new construction and everything in between. - Home Improvement - Home Renovations (full) - Bathroom Remodel - Kitchen remodel - Decks - new builds, repairs, refinishing's - Rails - Railings - Siding - Baseboard and Trim Finish Carpentry - Spa - hot tub maintenance and repairs - Property Management

"Posting a review for MAN UP CONSTRUCTION is a pleasure. Seldom have we worked with a company that is as conscientious about their customer’s needs as MAN UP. Cameron Anderson, the owner of MAN UP, is easy to work with, reliable, honest, and straightforward; his expectations for every member of his crews mirrors those that he has for himself. We just finished a significant kitchen remodel during which MAN UP played a key role. They were responsible for installing and then removing the RAM BOARD on the floors of the kitchen, sunroom, and laundry room, removing the soffits on each side of the kitchen, removing and then cleaning up the residual insulation, then reinsulating, removing all of the sheetrock in the kitchen, removing old countertops, tile, and backsplash in the kitchen, and then reinstalling, taping, and texturing the new sheetrock. Cameron also brought in the electrician, plumbers, and a tiler for an unexpected small repair that was not thought to be a part of the initial job. The crews from MAN UP completed each task in the remodel precisely as we’d outlined and in a timely and professional manner. We were kept informed during each step of the remodel about what and when each job was to be started and completed, and his crew sought our input several times during the process to make certain that we were all on the same page. Had we used MAN UP as the primary contractor for the remodel rather than subbing out the cabinetry – construction, design, and installation of the cabinetry - along with other parts of the remodel that we decided to sub out – we would never have had to address some of the faulty workmanship of those contractors & subs. His firm was the only piece of the remodel puzzle that was done correctly and efficiently from start to finish. Kudos to Cameron and his crew(s). When next we require work done – full or partial remodels – it will be MAN UP that we use as the full contractor. We’ll no longer put ourselves in the position of having to deal with the abundance of second-raters that now infest the profession. Well done, MAN UP – from Cameron through his entire crew - well done."

FAQs for retaining wall installation projects in Gilchrist, OR

Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.

When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.

The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.

A paver patio can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years, depending on the type of pavers and how well you maintain them.

Travertine pavers are usually the most durable, lasting 100 years or more, with regular maintenance. Concrete brick pavers have a variety of shapes and colors available and typically last 25 to 50 years. Traditional brick pavers have a more classic look, lasting around 20 years with proper maintenance.

Landscaping costs around $3,500 but varies widely from $200 to $14,000. Factors that play a part in your final landscaping price tag include:

  • Location

  • Yard size

  • Project size

  • Materials

  • Land preparation

  • Type of landscaping

Considering so many factors, it’s not surprising that the overall costs can differ. A typical landscaping project is flower bed installation, which averages between $800 and $3,000. However, landscape lighting installation is a higher-end project, with a price tag of $2,000 to $6,000
