I was sent an email which stated the tech’s name (Jeremy Dillon). arrival time/ date my home 11 AM Tues 12/22, he arrived early (great), accessed the problem, went got the parts, returned fixed my broken pipes all within about 1 hr. "American Home Shield does not do repair work; they subcontract it. If replacement of anything more than very minor parts is required the subcontractor must obtain their approval and usually order parts from an approved supplier. This can cause some repairs to take several days. In this case the HVAC subcontractor was superb. He quickly inspected the entire furnace and identified and explained the cause of the problem. Since there were no major parts requiring replacement he quickly completed the repair and no further problems have been noted. "
