"He perfectly double wrapped the shield so Bamboo will not migrate into neighbor's fence and overtake our yard. Juan is extremely fair in his pricing and his work is impeccable. I highly recommend him and his crew!"

"It went very well, even with the freezing snowy weather. I was surprised that they were here when I got home from work early due to snow. The crew was very polite and professional. Fernando is very conscientious and wants to have everything exactly right for his customer. Our house has a lot of peaks and valleys so I believe it was a bit more on the challenging side. We went with Malarkey Highlander Shingles in Natural Wood. We couldn't be more happy with the end product. We would definitely recommend his service."

"My neighbors hired Damian to maintain their yards, and Damian's crew replaced a fence for my neighbor and I last summer. Work was excellent! This summer we hired Damian to install a patio, but after conversation we expanded the project to include replacing our lawn with new sod, installation of underground sprinkler system, weed removal and yard cleanup. The work is nearly done, and our backyard looks fantastic! Damian and his crew are hard-working, fast, professional and fun. And all their work for us and our neighbors is great! Highly recommend them for yard maintenance or landscaping projects!"

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

Rubbing alcohol may also remove ice from your driveway in a pinch. It has a lower freezing point than water, which expedites the unfreezing process. Pour 70 percent isopropyl alcohol into a quart or half-gallon spray bottle and spray it on your driveway. You do not have to dilute it with water.

Be careful when choosing a product to help you remove ice from your wood deck. Never use sand, gravel, or salt, since these items can damage and scratch the wood. Instead, look for chemical de-icers that are marked as safe for wood decks or use hot water to melt snow and ice.

A common mistake is you can let snow melt naturally in a window well. However, snow buildup in the well can damage your window frames and walls. The melting snow also poses risks of water damage as it may leak through into the basement. It’s important to shovel snow out of your window wells before too much snow is piled in there.

While it is possible to remove snow from your roof without a professional, we don’t recommend it. Accessing your roof can be a dangerous task; pair that with slippery ice and snow that can be heavy to move, and you have a very risky problem on your hands. This dangerous situation becomes more high-risk when there’s a snowstorm or your roof has a steep pitch. To ensure that everyone stays safe, be sure to call a roof snow removal specialist to complete this job with the proper tools and equipment.

The average cost for a single snow removal service is around $85, but can range from $40 to $200. For excessive snowfall, the price could be $500 or more, as single services are often based on the amount of snow, with every six inches adding to the total. For ongoing service, an annual snow removal contract typically costs between $200 and $600 for the season. In many cases, an annual contract is more affordable than paying per visit. The final cost is heavily influenced by your location, the amount of snowfall your area receives, property size, seasonal demand, expected response time, and any extra services like clearing a sidewalk.
