"Asked for a quote on a simple job - replacing a fitting where my bidet was attached to the water line. The guy gave me a reasonalbe sounding estimate of $275 and then came out. He looked over the situation and said it would cost an extra $100. I told him I would been quoted for the job and he told me that was only for driving up to my place! I let him know I was not happy but did not make a scene, yell or cuss at him. I gave him the extra money just to get it done. Now, I got a call related to an Angi search about a new problem. They gave no estimate over the phone but did tell me the estimate would be free. I was not sure if it was the same company I'd had the problem with before but I figured it would not hurt to get their estimate and would not get taken again. The guy came by, got half way up my driveway, then backs out and drives away. Minutes later I get a call declining the job because they would done work for me before and were not interested! yelp score is 2.3!"
