"I had a lot of moss build up on my roof, my gutters were overflowing, and my downspouts had a few leaks; Julian and his team came and fixed all of these issues. Since Julian removed the moss off of my roof it has not returned all winter and i have had no problem with any leaks since he came. If I need any work done again I will definitely be giving him a call as he was very proffesional and made sure i approved of the work that was done and was happy with the service before he left. He also provided me photos from above on the roof since i cannot get up on ladders which i appreciated a lot. I would recommend his services to anyone who needs them!"

"They power washed our driveway and it looks like new again. (It's 25 years old) They a lot pulled all the weeds out from our sidewalk strip and front yard. Then they spread barkdust everywhere. It looks very well manicured now."

Garbage Collection questions, answered by experts

Never put glass in the garbage disposal. It can damage your disposal or eject shards of glass out of the disposal and cause injury. If you get broken glass in your garbage disposal, turn it off and cut the power from the breaker, use a tool like pliers or tongs to remove the glass, and use a wet-dry vacuum to remove the remaining glass pieces. If you can’t access the disposal safely, call a garbage disposal repair pro.

Garbage disposals can be considered bad for the environment due to their electricity usage, but good for the environment because they reduce the food waste sent to landfills. If everyone used a garbage disposal, it would tax the wastewater treatment facilities in that region, but if we had to choose one of the options, we’d say they are a net positive on the environment when used correctly.

The two main negatives of garbage disposals are they are a safety hazard in homes with children, and they frequently encounter blockage issues. While they might be annoying to fix and monitor, garbage disposals can significantly lower your trash use and are a great way to dispose of organic waste. While there are negatives, the vast majority of homeowners acknowledge the positives are enough to install a disposal in their home.

If the cost of repairing a leaking garbage disposal is close to the cost of replacing the disposal, then fixing the unit might not make sense. When deciding if you should repair or replace your garbage disposal, consider the age of your garbage disposal, the cost of the repair, and whether your garbage disposal has had other problems recently to help you decide if the cost of repairing the leak is better than the cost of replacing the disposal.

The main issue with garbage disposals is clogging. This can mean a clogging of the pipes that expel the food along with water, or a clogging of the mechanical parts themselves. The problem lies in the solution because you can’t easily see clogs if they’re inside the system, and reaching in to dislodge stuck items is a risky proposal. Call a pro and ask what they would do, but if you can’t see the clog easily, and running the unit won’t free it, you need to let a professional handle the fix.
