Our Owner / Safety Director has a rich background in rope access, fall protection and practical rigging, and is always present during high rise window cleaning operations. The window Guy takes a pro-active stance toward the identification, analysis and control of any existing or potential hazards in the workplace. Our efforts begin with comprehensive pre-planning, including job site specific work plans and hazard analysis for new or changed operations. Our High Rise crew members are experts in their industry and skilled masters at their craft. Every technician is trained following the International Window Cleaning Association (IWCA) safety guidelines and methods with an overall emphasis on compliance with ANSI and OSHA standards. With high rise safety as our number one priority, our Safety Director has extensive training and experience in rope access, fall protection, and practical rigging. The Window Guy technicians have been cleaning some of the highest and most difficult buildings in Portland for more than 14 years, and have expertise in using RDS (Rope Descent System), hanging platforms, roof top roller rigs, man lifts and other high rise access systems. "I am a contractor from NY that moved to Portland and have had extensive contact with window film installers, and actually have a friend in NY who is a top level 3M installer, so I pretty much knew what I wanted. I called 3 companies to get an estimate and two showed up. Peake (Tim) was my choice after 5 minutes of talking with him. I wanted the top of the line 3M film, as it is the best on the market, and the little increase in cost was worth it. Tim's quote was very fair, not the cheapest, but I gave him the job as I felt he was a pro. He showed up today at 7:30 as promised and by 10:30 was done. He was extremely neat, very fast, and did an excellent job, proving that my feeling that he was a pro was on the money. I very highly recommend him, and the 3M film he uses. You get what you pay for and window film is not something you want to cheap out on."
