"Lynn Lapping, one of the sales representatives, came to my house, measured the windows and the next day sent me a quote for blinds (Hunter Douglas Applause Line). During that first visit, she was friendly and provided answers to all of my questions. Two weeks later, I contacted her to come by and measure three kitchen windows, as I am planning to put roman shades in them. Lynn came by, but she seemed off, she was rushed, impatient and a bit rude. I had recently received a quote for drapes from another company and I asked her if she thought the prices were reasonable for the type of drapes. She was annoyed and told me that I should had ask her to measure those windows during her first visit to get a quote for drapes.  However, at that time, I had no plans to put drapes there so I could not have planned for it. I ignored her demeanor and attitude, we all have bad days, and so I assumed she was simply having a bad day.
I wanted to place a deposit for the blinds on the spot but she locked herself out of their system and she could not process my payment. She told me that someone would call me to get my credit card information, but no one ever did. I called her the next day to ask for the final quote and make sure everything was ready to go, she told me she would get the quote to me later that evening or the next day. She never did. I called the following day and left a voice mail for Lynn. The office manager e-mailed me to let me know that Lynn would be out of the office due to a family emergency and that she would contact me the following week to place the order. I e-mailed her back and ask her if someone else could help me with the order as I did not want to delay the process an additional week (lead time is three to four weeks). She told me that John the company owner would contact me to process the order. All of these e-mails were exchanged on a Wednesday. The weekend came and the owner never e-mailed or called me. On Monday I e-mailed the office manager to ask if someone would be calling me to process the order. I also ask her to let me know if they could not process my order so that I could find another provider. I received the following e-mail: "We apologize for the delay. Due to the scheduling conflicts with our designers, we will not be able to assist you with your order.  We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused." 
While I understand that family emergencies do happen, it does not make sense for a business to stop because one of their employees is unavailable. I am happy that my order did not get process through this company; I can get Hunter Douglas blinds for the same price with other providers. What would have happened if I had trouble either with the delivery, installation or quality of the blinds and Lynn was not available to handle those situations? Again, business continuity is a must for a company to be successful, business can not stop for one employee.

"Lifetime Windows & Doors were great. We started thinking about replacing our aging aluminum frame windows a few years ago. We got visited by a door-to-door replacement window company and got a good quote. However, the windows were very “chunky” compared to our sleek aluminum windows. So we got a quote from the big replacement window company and got sticker shock. We then found that Milgard had replacement vinyl windows that we could get in black capstone (both internal and external color), but the replacement company never got back to us with a quote – even after many back and forth communications. We then found Lifetime Windows and Doors. Morgan and Lindsay were head and shoulders above all other vendors we worked with regarding communication. When we found out that Milgard was delayed with the black windows we wanted, they found that Simonton had a similar window and got us in their queue. Yes, it took a while to get windows, but Tony and Hugo did a great job, installing all 17 windows. We’re super happy with Lifetime Windows and Doors."

We had a very small window to get the carpet installed in our new house before we had to move in.  Eugene was able to fit us in and worked with our schedule.  The quote was right on, his prices were competitive if not better than most that we talked with.  He ended up having to do the project mostly by himself (as his teams were finishing up other jobs) and worked extremely hard and long hours to make sure it got done in our timeframe.  He even finished a little earlier than promised! The end result is even better than we imagined.  We cannot recommend his services enough.

"While we determined I could not gain much space for the expense, he still lubed my 25-year old garage door opener and checked the spring. And taught me how to do all this myself. He was late making our 2-hour scheduled window due to previous customer time, however, he called me to let me know he'd be late and also called when he was on his way. "Due to medical issues we were not able to start contacting painters until the end of July. That meant that some of them were already fully booked into September which meant that getting the work done prior to the rainy season was questionable. However, Taylor was more than willing to book us in and then worked to ensure that his team was able to paint our house and do the staining before the third week of September. They also agreed to replace some areas of damaged siding and flashing around a couple of windows. Taylor met with me and took information about the colors. The house is 10 years old and had three colors, a main body color, a secondary color for part of the front, and a trim color. We wanted to match the original colors, which were faded now. I want to compliment him and Miller's Paints as they did that perfectly. On the promised day they arrived to power wash the house. A few days later, again on schedule, the crew showed up on to tape and mask the windows, although they needed to hold off on the ones needing repair. The next day a painting crew arrived to begin painting. Their carpenter also arrived to begin the wood repairs. Over the course of the next 4 days there was always a team at our house engaged in the repair work and painting. As mentioned, they also stained the patio. They did a very thorough job and always masked everything and took care to avoid overspray, etc. At the end they also cleaned everything up and took trash away, including the old pieces of wood and siding."
