"Really good experience. Time is of the essence with rental properties and Matt was very quick to get to the property and resolve the issue. Would definitely use Matt’s services again."

"Deceitful behavior. We hired Nosa to weed, spray and lay bark dust. We had a long conversation about what we wanted. He quickly taped out a bid on his phone after I already agreed to the price. I should have looked at the bid closer,.. he then left out the main part of bark dust. The next day he did some of the work and didn’t show up for the rest. Their scam is to get 75% down and not finish. Beware!!!!"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Trees growing within 10 to 15 feet of your house pose serious risks, so it’s worth considering removing them. First, branches that hang over and touch your roof can promote roof damage and moss accumulation, which can lead to leaking. Second, they drop debris into your gutters, leading to clogs and overflow that can promote foundation leaks. Finally, the root systems can grow into your home’s foundation, sometimes putting enough pressure on them that the concrete wall cracks, leaving you with structural damage. As such, it’s often a good idea to remove trees growing close to your home.

Tree stumps are not only unsightly, but they can also do serious damage to your yard and home’s foundation. Tree stumps also attract termites, mice, ants, and other pests that could make their way into your home. While it’s an investment in your yard, removing a stump is worth the cost.

Stumps can decay, spread rot, attract insects, and make it easier for fires to start in your yard, so when you remove a tree, you should also make plans to remove the stump. Stump removal costs an average of $360 depending on the size and method of removal. On that note, you should avoid burning out a stump on your own—not only can it start a dangerous fire, it may also be illegal in your area.

Some fast-acting products can rot a tree stump in four to six weeks. Keep in mind, these products contain harsh chemicals that may prevent regrowth in the area. Other products, like fertilizer that contains lots of nitrogen, can enhance the process and rot a stump in about a year. (This is compared to the ten years it can take naturally for a stump to rot.)

The amount of time it takes for a tree trunk to rot depends on several factors, including the tree’s size, species, and environmental conditions. It can take anywhere from a few years to several decades for a tree’s trunk to rot. A tree stump, on the other hand, can take up to 10 years to disappear after it’s decayed naturally.
