"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"Love these guys! We own several properties and Quad Construction has been my "go to" company for all of our properties over the last 5 years. Why? They are affordable and reliable! Always on time, very honest about quotes and time spent on the job. They make every effort to do a thorough job and are great about cleaning up after themselves. Highly recommend!"

Need help getting something organized?!\n\nHello friends! My name is Jessica, I am a kind and friendly woman in her 30s, and work full time as an assistant manager at a restaurant. I would like to hone my organizational skills to help make your life a little easier, and earn some extra money on the side!\n\nMy natural neurodivergent tendencies are a huge aid in putting things in logical order and arranging a functional feng shui for different aspects of your life. Do you need your kitchen cupboards organized? Book shelves alphabitized? Closet in fresh order? Living room rearranged?\n\nWhole no professional experience other than what you'd call mise en place, I am a long-time service industry professional, trustworthy, hard working, and currently in need of a little extra to get through this tax season.\n\nThank you for your consideration!! Have a great day.

Closets questions, answered by experts

Hanging and folding clothes are efficient ways to pack your clothes during a move. When choosing a packing method, consider the type of clothing you’re packing. For example, clothing such as dresses, suits, blouses, and items made of silk and similar fabrics are ideal for hangers. On the other hand, it’s easier to fold pants, shorts, t-shirts, thick sweaters, and more.

Bedrooms and living rooms generally cost the least to remodel. Of course, the project price will depend on what you're planning to do to the space and the cost of the materials you choose to incorporate. Prices are typically lower than those of other remodels because major plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work isn't often part of remodeling these rooms.

Plywood offers excellent stability and strength for drawer construction. Baltic birch plywood provides a premium appearance, while standard hardwood plywood offers good value. Solid wood works well but requires more attention to grain direction and seasonal movement.

Bump-out additions can add some space to a closet without requiring any significant structural work. This entails pushing back the existing rear or side of the closet, simply moving the wall into either an adjacent room or unused space. For ground-floor closets, this could even be extended to the exterior of the home, but that has its own complications. Bump-outs are a good discussion to have with your contractor if you’re just looking to increase the space a little—not renovate the entire closet space.

Costs range from $2,000 to $10,000, depending on size, materials, and design complexity.
