"I’d like to cover up a hole in my yard but this company came in made sure that my septic lines were working Then they put in a new distribution box and left. I called them and let them know it was leaking and they have not fixed it and now are trying to tell me that my septic lines are not working when when they told me they were. This company has no integrity. They do poor workmanship they are rude and inconsiderate when it comes to customer service I would not recommend this company to nobody!!!"

Arrived right on time and completed the work in 2 hours. Note that the larger companies wanted me to remove my wellhouse first, switch over from 115V to 220V (which would have cost thousands) AND wanted almost twice the money to replace the pump. SOOO glad I found Alpine. Shawn installed a 115V pump in 2 hours without removing the well house. Better Pressure and MUCH cheaper."

It depends on the type of sump pump. On average, pedestal sump pumps last between 20 and 25 years, whereas submersible sump pumps last for about 5 to 15 years. Generally, pedestal sump pumps are less expensive to service than submersible ones, but they’re also louder and more likely to clog.

You should be fine. Most high-grade grinder pumps have a 24-hour holding capacity within the tank. You can continue to use the facilities so long as the power outage does not stretch into days. In a worst-case scenario, attach a generator to the grinder pump, providing it has sufficient electric capacity.

If the motor is faulty or your pump is over 10 years old, it’s time for a replacement. If you’ve noticed that your pump is running nonstop or cycling on and off, these could also be indicators that your sump pump is failing. A vetted plumber near you can tell you whether or not you need a replacement.

To test for toilet leaks, use water coloring in the water tank and see if the water slips into the bowl from the tank. This test will indicate if there’s a problem with the flapper or refill tube. You can also put water coloring in the bowl of the toilet to see if there is a leak there. If there is, you should see the colored water on the outside of the toilet bowl or on the floor. 

If you notice any new sump pump noises, such as persistent clanging or gurgling, then you likely have a sump pump problem on your hands. Foul odors coming from the pump can also indicate problems. Additionally, if your unit turns on but doesn't pump water, you might have to address electrical problems. In any of these cases, it's a good idea to hire a professional to address the issue.
