"Brandon and Eli of Auxilium Construction have done many projects for us, including framing in/installing a 9 foot slider, putting in an additional header between the living room/dining room, installing (framing in one) two windows, and adding a new header to a sagging window opening in our home in Terrebonne. They exceeded our expectations in communication, timeliness, respect towards us and our property. We highly recommend their services to anyone looking for an excellent construction company"

"We were gone when the gutter was installed, and they had called us letting us know the date of installation. When we got home, the gutter and downspout was color matched so perfectly we didn't even notice it! Not a sign that they had even been there. Great job."

"I hired GreenSavers to replace a broken second-story window. These guys were very professional and did very quality work. Once I handed over the deposit check, they took complete control of the project, and went above and beyond to see it through to completion. They replaced all the trim around the window too, and came out on a Saturday to get the window installed on the week that they said they would. They even used extra paint from the touch up to patch some paint damage I had elsewhere on the house. Highly recommended!"

"We enjoyed the experience. Brent flowed with the ever changing changes as our project morphed from simple to a major improvement. We knew where we were with both material cost and labor. He was willing to work with us and advise us on the best approach to achieving our objectives. I would strongly recommend him for any future projects."

Eifs Installers questions, answered by experts

The proper way to install a window well is to measure the window, dig a hole deeper and wider than the window, place a drainage tube and cap, anchor the well to the foundation, caulk the seam, and backfill the hole. The job requires tools such as a hammer drill and auger and some heavy digging. Proper placement and window well installation are critical to preventing water from leaking into the window.

Depending on size, material, and labor, two windows can cost between $600 and $1,600.

An egress window is similar to a regular window. However, this type of window opens fully to allow people to escape the home or rescue personnel to enter the home if an emergency occurs. Egress windows are required in all finished basements before they can be considered a living space.

Yes, you can install a bay window in an existing house. You’ll need to have a structural engineer draw up plans to add the necessary support to your exterior load-bearing walls and a general contractor to make the changes to the framing around the new wall opening. This will cost an average of $3,000. After that work is done, a window installer can set the new bay window in place.

Egress windows are typically required for basements with habitable space or living quarters. Not all basements or lower levels require egress windows. However, egress windows are required in homes with living spaces such as bedrooms and living rooms in a basement. The International Residential Code and International Building Code require sleeping rooms to have a specific size egress window. Check your local building codes to confirm the requirements in your area.
