"Very professional and great groups of fellas doing hard work and leaving an amazing product. I hired them to climb and trim some trees, they were fast, safe, and willing to help out in any way they could. 10 out of 10 I would recommend them to anyone!"

"He did great work. I had an overgrown maple tree in my backyard that posed a threat to my roof, my fence, and even my neighbors property. He came out to survey the area and listen to my concerns. He discussed the problem areas with me and made sure he understood what I wanted. He arrived on time, trimmed everything up exactly as asked, and cleared the area afterwards. Now my yard looks great and my home feels safer. I would definitely hire him again."

"Jose has successfully helped me on several projects over the last few years on my home and rental properties. He is very interested in making certain he understands the scope of the project and outcome I am seeking. I would highly recommend Jose and his company for property maintenance and landscape development. He and his crew are very pleasant to work with. michael Devereux"

"I have used Caudle's Tree service a number of times over the years. Today the crew showed up on time, were very knowledgeable and professional, cleaned up the yard and street afterwards and it looked like they hadn't been there. Very happy with the way our trees look, very natural appearance. Reasonable price for the work performed. Would highly recommend for any tree services you might need."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Yes, forestry mulching can grind stumps, but the level of effectiveness depends on the equipment used. Drum mulchers can break down smaller stumps, but larger or deep-rooted stumps may require a dedicated stump grinder for complete removal. If full stump removal is necessary for replanting or construction, additional excavation may be needed. Always check with your forestry mulching provider to confirm whether they offer stump grinding and if their equipment is suitable for your specific needs.

Professionals ensure safety, prevent property damage, and handle debris efficiently.

Make sure the tree roots soak around a day before you dig the tree up for the transplant. Keep the roots wet while the tree is above ground. After the transplant is finished, provide consistent water every day for the first month or so. You don’t want to overwater the tree, but you do want to keep the roots wet so they can thrive in their new environment.

You’ll have to balance up the cost, the value of the tree (sentimental or otherwise), and the risk factors. An experienced arborist will help you understand whether transplanting is likely to be successful. The cost and hassle of transplanting a large, well-established tree are often not worth it, especially if the species is fast-growing and easy to source. The decision depends on the age and species of the tree, the conditions in the new site location, and how careful the company is when digging out and moving the tree.

You’ll want to have your palm trees trimmed during the spring, ideally in May, before hurricane season sets in, which generally takes place during the late summer. Palm trees grow fastest over the summer months. You’ll also want to trim your palm trees when you notice:

  • Brown fronds

  • Dry leaves

  • Flower pods

  • Fruit

  • Fronds overgrown in power lines

  • Frond encroaching upon your neighbor’s home or yard

  • Visible damage from a storm
