"They were to hang my Christmas lights but they kept showing up to do it and telling me I was missing something before they could do it. If they would have gave me a list of things they required to start the job it would have saved me time off work and money. By the time we finally got the job done the bill had doubled because of the additional trips.

"When I submitted my request on Angi's, Andy Bowen responded quickly with a phone call. He was able to come look at my front door and the storm door that had blown off it's hinges. He gave me a reasonable quote. The very next day, he and his crew made the repairs. They were professional, friendly, and performed excellent work. They had to replace some wood around the frame of my storm door, paint it, and rehang my door. I can't tell that the frame was ever damaged. They also adjusted my front door so it had less of a gap between the frame and closed better to eliminate drafts. Andy was very particular about the work done. I will definitely be using this company for future repairs. Thank you Andy!"

The primary attractant for moles is food. With a powerful sense of smell, they seek out grubs, earthworms, ants, and other insects in the soil. Other factors can also draw them in, such as moist, loose soil which makes tunneling easier, so an overwatered lawn can be an invitation. Many gel bait traps are called “child-resistant,” but this only means that the traps are hard to rip open for children. Large pets and children are still able to swallow them. If you use gel bait, use it in areas where pets and children can’t access them, such as under a washing machine. Another option is to use glue traps, which don’t contain pesticides and are safe to use around pets. 

Moles live underground and feed on insects. They dig and move through tunnels, usually in meadows or forests but sometimes in lawns and gardens. They are about 6 inches long with large claws, tiny eyes, and hidden ears. 

Shrews do not dig their own tunnels but will use other animals’ tunnels, and are about 3 to 4 inches long. They look similar to mice and feed on insects.
