"Project (overlay existing patio with approx. 6 inches concrete) went very well. Tom was very responsive and so easy to work with. He and his crew, all very nice guys, were very efficient, on-time every day until finished, careful with everything and left everything clean and tidy after finishing. Very good experience and would definitely use again - and highly recommend."

"A rep from Permalift came out to give us an estimate for piering our foundation. While he seemed to be a perfectly nice individual, I wasn't comfortable with his speech detailing how he waters his foundation 3 times a day even during watering restrictions, and that he doesn't care if the city tickets him. "They can ticket me all they want, but who's gonna pay for my foundation if it cracks?"
I understand that the soil around the foundation must maintain a certain level of moisture so the clay doesn't shrink so much that the foundation becomes unstable. However, this rep's blatant disregard for such a precious natural resource rubbed me the wrong way. I also understand that this particular rep's opinions aren't necessarily a reflection of the work performed by the company. I do hope, however, that the policy of the company reflects the fact that water is a valuable resource - one that is diminishing in our drought-stricken state - and that there must be some balance between property preservation and preserving this resource.

Small jobs welcome

"Dan was very responsive, from the bid to the communication. We had old steps and concrete patio removed and new stairs and patio put in. Doing this in November is tricky due to rain and freezing temps. Dan pro-actively communicated if there would be a delay or options I had. We are very happy with the end product."

"Drainage issues across driveway required swale, sloping, and outlet pour. For estimate, RW immediately responded and was fair - in line with other quotes - but his knowledge and recommendations to solve the problem sold us! Scheduled and crew arrived on time and went right to work. Cleaned up work site and were very professional and polite. After cure, we tested to ensure water runoff worked properly and found outlet needed to be expanded - RW immediately came out and poured the extra area without complaint! This is customer service at its best! Very happy with project, will have him back for any more concrete work and highly recommend."

Concrete Resurfacing FAQs, answered by experts

Completing concrete repair in Tulsa can significantly enhance your home’s value and curb appeal. Well-maintained driveways and walkways attract buyers, especially in sought-after neighborhoods. Addressing foundation issues reassures potential buyers about structural stability. Decorative finishes or outdoor living upgrades are also popular in Tulsa’s real estate market, helping your home stand out and making a positive impression during showings.

Helpful?

In Tulsa, early warning signs include hairline cracks that gradually widen, uneven surfaces, or shifting slabs. Watch for persistent moisture around concrete, crumbling edges, or discoloration, as these can signal underlying drainage or soil problems. If you notice gaps forming between concrete and adjacent structures, or repeated weed growth in cracks, it’s wise to address these issues before they escalate.

Helpful?

To ensure a smooth concrete repair process in Tulsa, assess your property’s soil type and drainage, as local clay can affect results. Plan for clear access to the work area and communicate your expectations with your contractor. Review their experience with Tulsa’s weather patterns and request references. Organize your project timeline to avoid peak rainy seasons, and source materials from reputable local suppliers for best results.

Helpful?

Combining concrete repair with other home upgrades in Tulsa can streamline your project and maximize efficiency. Coordinating tasks like landscaping, driveway resurfacing, or foundation waterproofing often means less disruption and faster completion. Working with contractors familiar with Tulsa’s climate ensures materials and timing are optimized, especially during spring or fall when weather conditions favor outdoor projects and minimize delays.

Helpful?

Building a seasonal inspection routine in Tulsa starts with checking for new cracks or surface changes each spring and fall. In summer, monitor for heat-related expansion or shifting. Before winter, clear debris and ensure proper drainage to prevent freeze-thaw damage. Keep a simple log of your findings and photos to track changes over time, and consider scheduling a professional assessment every few years for added peace of mind.
