Tulsa Paver Designs did an incredible job from quote to completion- they stood out from the other pros I contacted because of their professionalism and wealth of expertise. They were flexible with the design and provided valuable input- we love the end result! Estimate was reasonable compared to others we received and work was completed on time. Everyone on the team was friendly and respectful. We couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

My projects are probably among the most basic TPD has done, but they perfectly fit my needs. I’m a repeat customer and have always been thrilled with the results. Additionally, when hiring someone to do a project, I prefer to give my money to someone I like. You’ll never meet a nicer guy than Frank. He’s very personable, takes pride in his work and aims to guarantee you’ll be pleased with his work. I’m a very happy customer!

I love my new welcoming back patio! Tulsa Pavers and Design not only did a fantastic job on the patio, but they were patient with general contractors schedule. They worked quickly, communicated well as to their schedule, cleaned up after themselves and were well priced. Much more attractive than a concrete slab.

Frank turned my 14 day job into a 40 day job. When he decides to show up for work, he only stays for an hour or two. When you point out that his work doesn’t meet minimum standards, he takes great offense and cusses at you. Frank is the worst contractor I’ve ever dealt with. Do not hire Frank Malkemus or Tulsa Paver Design.

Even though I was very attracted to the price, my experience was poor.  He did not show up on time and did not work very long when he did, consequently the job took 3 x the time projected.  He broke the pavers and did not lay them evenly.  I had to nag him on several occassions.  His attitude was defensive and offensive.

I found Frank's company (Tulsa Paver Designs) on the internet and gave him a call to come out and give me an estimate for a paver patio and sidewalk.  I had recently been given an estimate from another company that had done some stone work for me.  The other company's estimate seemed high to me, so I decided to get another estimate.  Was I ever glad I made that decision, as Franks' estimate was 40% less and I have no doubts that his craftsmanship was superior to the other company!
I met with Frank a couple days later and he came out and went over the design that I had written up.  We discussed some changes, concerns, etc.   A couple days later, Frank sent a bid for the job.  I was very happy with the price and was impressed with Frank during our initial meeting.  He took my wife and I to see a similar job that he'd done years earlier - just to see how the pavers hold up to the weather and to see how he "designs"  his work.  We were impressed with his work and signed a contract at that time.  He had several other projects in front of ours, so it was a few weeks later before he got started.
Frank and his crew came out and started doing the ground work - getting everything level, staking off the boundaries, etc.    Since my yard sloped quite a bit, we ended up having to do a short retaining wall and some steps going down to the patio area.  Frank was very good about answering my questions, addressing my concerns, etc.  There were numerous times throughout the project where I said "can we do this instead of this".   Usually, it required more work on Frank's part, but he was always willing to do whatever I wanted done.  As part of the project, he moved sprinkler heads when needed, and even fixed a couple broken sprinkler heads that had nothing to do with the project.   Oh, and it was about 105 degrees outside the entire project.  By the end of the project, I had added an additional sidewalk and patio on the other side of the house.  The entire project took 3 full weeks with Frank showing up on time every day.  Frank did all of the actual laying of the pavers himself. 
The projects turned out fantastic!  I've had many compliments on the patios and sidewalks.   I can't say enough about Frank's work ethic and attention to detail.   He's one contractor that can be trusted.  He does what he says he's going to do, on time, and doesn't leave the job until the customer is happy.   I am more than happy to recommend Frank to anybody needing paver work done.
