"Rafael & his crew were beyond a 5 star. From first meeting, to receiving the estimate, to having the work done. They were very reasonable, efficient, & hard working. They went above and beyond. Not only did they do what was estimated they made the yard look better than before they started. Rafael s & team of workers were very professional. We received several estimates & Rafael s was more reasonable by quite a bit. I would & will recommend him to anyone in need of tree service."

Emergency services offered

"I recently hired Emerald Tree Care and Land Clearing LLC for tree removal and land clearing, and they exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The crew arrived on time, explained the process clearly, and worked very professionally throughout the entire job. They safely cut down several trees, cleared out overgrown areas, and made a huge improvement to the property. What impressed us most was how efficient and organized they were. They had the right equipment, worked carefully around the property, and paid attention to safety at all times. After the work was completed, they did an excellent cleanup job by removing debris, branches, and leftover brush, leaving the area looking neat and ready to use. The quality of work was outstanding. It’s hard to find companies that are dependable and take pride in their work, but this crew definitely does. I highly recommend them to anyone needing tree cutting, tree removal, or land clearing services and would gladly use them again"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Common mistakes in Tulsa include failing to secure proper tree permits, hiring uninsured contractors, or attempting risky DIY tree removal. Over-pruning or topping trees can compromise tree health and violate city codes. The Tulsa Parks & Recreation Department recommends verifying arborist credentials and insurance before work begins to ensure compliance and safety. Relying on professionals helps avoid fines and long-term damage.

Helpful?

In Tulsa, tree removal and significant tree trimming often require permits, especially for heritage trees or those located near public property. The City of Tulsa Planning Office and Tulsa Parks & Recreation Department oversee these regulations. Before starting any tree service, contact both departments to confirm if your project needs a tree permit or additional approvals, as requirements may vary based on tree species, size, and location.

Helpful?

Tulsa's climate, with its hot summers, ice storms, and severe thunderstorms, influences the timing and approach for tree service. The Oklahoma Forestry Services advise scheduling tree trimming during late winter or early spring for optimal tree health. After major storms, emergency tree removal may be needed to address hazards. Planning around local weather patterns helps protect both your property and the longevity of your trees.

Helpful?

In Tulsa, homeowners may encounter unexpected requirements like obtaining tree permits or arranging for special disposal of large limbs. Additional work, such as tree stump grinding or clearing debris after storms, can also be necessary. If trees are near utility lines, coordination with the City of Tulsa Planning Office may be required. Always request a detailed scope of work from your arborist to avoid surprises.

Helpful?

For tree service in Tulsa, always hire a certified arborist familiar with local regulations and utility line safety. Ensure workers use proper personal protective equipment, such as hard hats, harnesses, and eye protection. According to the Oklahoma Forestry Services, never attempt DIY tree removal or trimming near power lines. Professional crews also use safe rigging and maintain clear drop zones to prevent property damage and injuries.
