Dan was very responsive, from the bid to the communication. We had old steps and concrete patio removed and new stairs and patio put in. Doing this in November is tricky due to rain and freezing temps. Dan pro-actively communicated if there would be a delay or options I had. We are very happy with the end product.

A portion of my driveway sank over the years. I needed it repaired. Dan Ramirez and his team were amazing! Their customer service is well above and beyond than most. First of all, he always responded to my inquiries within minutes. Mr. Ramirez provided an estimated quote, but was realistic with expectation management in the event unforeseen repairs were needed. He even works out a payment plan with his customers. Professional attitude, quality from start to finish, and attention to detail is what you will get from Dan and his team. Settle for nothing less. Hire him, and you won't be disappointed! If I need a general contractor again, I will go to Sierra Concrete first!

While other contractors gave me a headache, Dan made this process very easy. He kept us informed every step of the way and worked around our busy schedule. His workers are courteous and professional and were a joy to have around. The concrete that he laid is beautiful along with the pre-fab gazebo that he placed on it. This project was to repair the attempt to repair concrete and texture and color on my driveway and entrance area that another company completely messed up. Dan and his crew did what I thought was impossible ! You cannot tell the mess I had was ever there. The repairs, the texture and the color are beautiful. They were here everyday and even worked a weekend when the weather threatened to undo their work. This was a very pleasant experience after the horror we experienced with the previous contractor.

Homeadvisor's options did not allow a box for both sidewalks, driveway and long retaining wall. But he did all! Dan deserves a review which reflects his superb work on my home at 6201 So Gove St, Tacoma (the driveway and sidewalks are viewable, but the retaining wall is being covered by bricks slowly! Over 12 contractors called & actually only had bids by 2 on the complicated work (having to estimate dirt volume to move, cement needed, & various changes in the walls & angles to conform with the project. Almost all contractors who were provided the complicated plans did NOT want to in fact try & follow them & make a bid as it was not a simple  wall job, etc.. & thus never bid! Dan patiently spent over an hour review and discuss those plans, take them home , & then make a calculated bid! Dan's estimate was reasonable & he advised what he would require different in the base of the wall so that it did not collapse; I appreciated this advice as even though costing more, a collapsed wall is not something desired & his suggestions were appropriate and accepted and welcomed! I did not know Dan before and will not ever need cement work probably ever again but to help another homeowner feel comfortable in selecting a great cement firm is why I want to post this. There are never enough great professionals at any job and those who are the œcream of the crop deserve to be mentioned as such! The job: Driveway, sidewalks, driveway 34 ft wide top end drain, approximately 150 feet of various height retaining wall 4 ft or less . The wall has various angles to include small planter garden at entry, etc. Moving dirt and removing as necessary which I had a hard time finding a contractor who would also agree to remove dirt (they just wanted to move some small grading which my project required much more). Professionalism: Dan always listenedto the ideas of the project, & gave great suggestions on changes to assure the concrete wall would not fail. Twice I called the cement plant & the lady working there both times when I mentioned who our contractor was volunteered how nice & polite a person Dan was..to hear that (twice even) was very comforting too. Timeliness: Dan was always on site as promised & let me know ahead of time if they had to have a day off to complete another job which I always appreciated; Dan let me know ahead of time sometimes another project had to be worked on and thus I knew that. However, he was on my site 98% of the time. Other professional™s acknowledgement of quality cement work. 2 different brick contractors both notice how superb a job Dan did. They notice how straight the wall was not only vertically but also horizontally which is crucial when placing a brick wall right next to it! To hear other professionals state such really felt great as even though I thought it looked wonderful, these other professionals knew when jobs were done poorly or not up to par and thus was nice to hear their compliments on thi™s cement w

The Crew showed up when they said they would, did a great job and best of all I did not have to clean up after them. The owner Dan was always available for questions, changes ans suggestions

We have dealt with many concrete contractors and Sierra is the most efficient and prompt company we have dealt with. The crew and Dan were always there when they said they would be and the work was exactly was we had discussed. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I tried a few other contractors. I had bids that were way out of line or there was no follow thru by either phone or email. I then went and made a search through HomeAdvisor. Several had great reviews. I then was contacted by Dan Ramirez with Sierra concrete. Dan came to my house the same day and gave me a bid. The bid was reasonable. I noticed that Dan had only one review through HomeAdvisor. It was a 5 star. Thinking that Dan had a newer company he would appreciate the business and would do a good job. Today Sierra concrete finished my driveway and sidewalk. The work is outstanding. Dan is a perfectionist and takes the time to get everything right. I am very happy with him and his crew.
