"They arrived on schedule and began work immediately.  They were able to quickly trim the elm tree to our satisfaction.  The willow tree took a little more time due to the proximity of the homes and multiple dead limbs at the top of the tree.  I was pleased with their work, and will definitely use them again.  They are very professional, and know their business well.

"This was a tree Removal project for several high safety hazard trees next to my home and over utility wires. the job was completed in one very long day, NO damage was done to home or wires, great job and the experience / skill / quality of workers was outstanding. the crew was very cooperative in where to stack the debris piles and cut the tree trunks into firewood chucks and piled where I wanted them, all at my request and included in the cost."

"Give him a call! I Told him what I needed gone, we scheduled a service date and got it done. He was knowledgeable and very professional! Another blessing he cleaned up after the yard work was done. I know it should be included with the service. It’s just mostly overlooked!"

"Trenton came out in a timely manner to provide a very reasonable quote. After I accepted his quote, he came out and did a good job of cutting down the tree that was leaning over our house. He communicated with me about any issues and I would definitely use him again."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

A serrated knife will work for cutting off small palm tree fronds, about 1 inch in diameter. For larger fronds, you will need pruning shears. You may also use a pruning saw, and if your palm tree is especially tall, an extended pole saw can help you reach the brown fronds around the trunk.

The best way is to start controlling tree height long before it grows too large, via careful pruning through the years. But that’s not always possible. If a tree has become too high or too large, use selective pruning to remove the most troublesome branches, one by one, without topping the tree. Gently shaping a tree like this can, over time, correct problems. You can also find growth inhibitors to spray on a tree to stop it from growing too rapidly, but use these sparingly if at all.

Yes, healthy and well-placed large trees can boost property value by an average of 3% to 15%. They improve curb appeal, offer energy savings through shade and wind protection, and are often considered by appraisers during home valuation. On the flip side, removing dead or hazardous trees can also increase value by eliminating safety risks. For the biggest return, choose low-maintenance, native species that thrive in your climate.

In most cases, you should not use a pruning seal on trees after trimming. Applying a sealant can interfere with the tree's natural healing process, and it does not guarantee protection from pathogens. Instead of sealing the cut, the best practice is to support the tree's natural recovery by providing it with plenty of water and a dormant-style fertilizer. However, there are exceptions. Pruning seals may be recommended for very vulnerable species, like elm trees, in areas where dangerous diseases such as Dutch elm disease are prevalent. In these specific situations, the protection offered by a sealant can outweigh its downsides. For advice tailored to your situation, especially after cutting large branches, it is best to consult a local tree trimming professional.

Bleach can potentially kill some types of delicate ornamental trees, but for the most part, it will only kill the foliage it comes in contact with. Applying bleach is not an effective method of killing a tree. A better option is to use an herbicide, which is a chemical compound designed to effectively kill a tree.
