"Ted is absolutely the best! He has cleaned my carpets my floors and grout at my home. He has also cleaned and waxed our 8,250 sq ft floor at the Rt. 66 Interpretive Center. He has always done an outstanding job and he is very professional! His pricing is excellent and he does a thorough job. I would highly recommend him for any job you need done. "A kid knocked over wax melt and it was all over everything. He spent half of his time cleaning that up while his father did the carpet cleaning. The kid wasn't of much help. They should pay attention to what they're doing."

"The cleaning went fine. He showed up about 15 minutes late but called ahead to let me know he was running late. The living room carpet was very dirty from pet traffic and stains. Overall, he got the carpet much cleaner. I was disappointed that the coffee table wasn't moved for cleaning, as I ended up with a dirty rectangle where it was sitting, and we do frequently slide it around."

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You can push or pull your carpet cleaner; it works either way. The best method for using a carpet cleaner is to push it as far in front of you as you can reach, then pull it back. Avoid stepping on the areas you’ve already cleaned.

It is possible to get blood out of a carpet, but it is a difficult process in some cases, especially if the blood has dried. It’s best to address the blood stain as quickly as possible before the proteins in the blood bind to the carpet fibers. Start by blotting with just cold water, then with cold water and dish soap. From there, move on to more aggressive options as needed, such as enzymatic stain removers, hydrogen peroxide solutions, or ammonia solutions.

While they both help to penetrate tough fibers and have similar designs, there is a difference between an upholstery cleaner and a carpet cleaner. Carpet cleaners are much tougher on stains and use much more concentrated solutions, while upholstery cleaners are a bit softer on fabrics and use lighter solutions. While an upholstery cleaner may work on a carpet, your carpet cleaner might be too rough on your upholstered furniture.

You’ve stored your coats away all summer long, but now that the temperatures drop, you notice they smell weird as you pull them from storage. What’s the deal? If your clothes smell weird after you stored them, they may have been in a moist, dark environment for several weeks or months. This environment is ideal for mildew growth, which can make clothes smell musty.

Virtually any material in your basement can absorb and hold onto musty odors, including building materials like wood framing, insulation, drywall, and flooring, as well as cloth furniture, clothes, area rugs, cardboard boxes in storage, and more. If you’re looking to get rid of the musty smell in your basement, it’s a good idea to remove or replace these items and address the underlying moisture issue for the fastest results.
